LoneWolf
Well i've been working on this for the last month or so and finally managed to get the base finished. The Scorpy king himself is a converion of Heresy's Giant scorpion (well durr) and the torso of the Heresy Manbat. The Girl is a straight up non-converted Kaylee ( from Hasslefree miniatures and the base is the most excellent Harem Diorama base sculpted by the amasingly talented Simon Harris (slightly converted to age it a bit) I'm quite pleased with the end result even though it tested my patience at times. One thing i can say is it'll be a little while before i take on anything this big again.... Whaduyutink?
Hinton
Excellent work. The minis are done very nicely and the scene looks great.

supervike
You certainly excel at setting the scene! Great job.
Nathan Caroland
Very nice and involved and tells a great story. Funny enough, the first thing that I thought was 'omg, painting all those mosaic tiles would have pissed me off'.
Avelorn
Love it! Great scene and atmosphere. You could have made the upper parts of the walls look even older and dustier though I think.
Duende
I think it's great! I really like the appearance of the floor and the tiled pool. Really impressed, I'd never have the patience to do something like this. :bigok:
Lordfishbane
Are those walls scratch built, or Hirst molds? Either way great job!!
Fabian
The scene is a resin kit that was sold by Hasslefree, but I can't remember if they're still producing it...
r2-j1
This really is superb work. No detail has been over looked or looks rushed. Simply Amazing.
Stupidcow
Wow everything looks really cool. The small pool of water to the mosaics are nice additions. A couple of things that I feel might improve it further would be the colour for the scorpion. As you might notice the red bits do stand out from the rest of the scene and it's better if its used on the scorpion to bring attention to the 2 main characters. Another small nitpick would be to bend the vine on the column in some random directions to make it look more lifelike.
Wren
Super job, a very atmospheric and dynamic scene. I particularly like the shading on the scorpion king and how you painted Kaylee's hair.
