Can a Vintage Pandora model be used as an Avatar of Insanity (Mysterious Emissary)?

As the title says, is it officially okay to do so?

They look pretty similar and convey the same idea, but the vintage one is way less fiddly (especially if put on a 50mm base) compared to the old metal one, what with all the tentacles and spirits going in 3 different directions.

I think the "official" answer would be no unless there is some modification because the vintage Pandora is a Pandora model  and so would be a legal model for that.

But I'd be very surprised if most tournament organisers wouldn't allow it, as long as it wasn't likely to confuse your opponent as to what it was. 

(Pandora is a strange one having a model that was named an avatar before avatars were a thing, then getting a different model as her Avatar model).

I suspect the “reasonable modifications” necessary for Pandora or Collette (or Hamelin, for the piper versions) would be close to “Did you put the models on a 50mm base?”…. 🤔
