Can someone tell me the diameter of the spot where the roots/branches are supposed to touch the base? I don't have the model as of yet, but already have a sweet idea of how to base her. If it's not a circle, then the length of the longest line through the base part would be enough.

As the title says, is it officially okay to do so? They look pretty similar and convey the same idea, but the vintage one is way less fiddly (especially if put on a 50mm base) compared to the old metal one, what with all the tentacles and spirits going in 3 different directions.
