Siren Call & Lure

Question

A few questions on Siren Call;

Siren Call: Push target model it's WK towards this model. (it does not say up to it's WK, which implies the model needs to move some sort of distance)

A) Does a model targeted by the Siren Call have to actually push any amount of distance for it to work?

B) What if the targeted model is already in BTB with the Performer when it is targeted by Siren Call?

C) Does the FAQ Lure explanation about being in BTB also apply to Siren Call?

The following are taken from the FAQ as reference.

25) Q: If a model moves (or is Pushed, Falls, is Placed, etc) 0” (zero inches), does it count as having moved?

A: No. Same answer for Pushing, Falling, Placement, etc.

7) Q: If a model with the Lure Action targets a model in base contact, can Lure be used to move the targeted model, so long as it ends in base contact with the model taking the Lure Action?

A: No. A model which is already in base contact may not be moved any further with the Lure Action.

There's a difference between "Does this action still work?" and "Does it accomplish something which triggers other effects?"

If you're in base contact and you use Lure with the thing in base contact, nothing is accomplished which triggers abilities.

In other words:

You can attack someone, get a damage flip, and then end up not damaging them.

You can push someone, not move them at all, and end up not pushing them.

Siren Call triggers:

:crow To Their Doom: After succeeding, the target gains the Paralyzed Condition if it is in base contact with this model.
:ram Deadly Dance: After succeeding, immediately take a (1) AP Ml Attack Action against the target if it is within range and LoS.
:tome A Sip of Wine: After succeeding, the target suffers damage equal to its Poison Condition value. Remove the Poison Condition from the target.

I don't see why it should matter if the model was pushed any distance. To their doom only checks if the model is in base contact, not how/when it got there.

Rotten bell Lure's trigger:

:crow:crow"She doesn't look that dead to me!": After succeeding, target must discard a card if able.

Again, distance shouldn't matter, the FAQ only says that you can't reposition a model in base contact with Lure, not that you can't target it with Lure.

"After succeeding" triggers care about winning the duel, not whether the action did anything.
