TimH Posted August 15, 2015 Report Share Posted August 15, 2015 1. Teddy and Kade are both heavy damage output high cost models who will die if you are not careful. Both have a Wp defensive ability (terrifying/manipulative) additional defensive power (Teddy has high wounds, regen and impossible to wound, Kade has df6) and a vulberability (Teddy has Df3 and Kade hasn't got a great number of wounds and lacks anything armour/HtW). With strong damage and nice movement tricks they can really dish out the pain. Kades lure can pull people in to Teddys melee and trigger smell fear and pounce for the pair. Teddy has built in trigger to push people about allowing Kade to pounce them. Kade also has where's Teddy that allows an extra push on Teddy (turn 1 for example) and lets the pair regroup. 2. The aforementioned lure smell fear can be pretty nasty. Kade can be very good at setting up enexpected charge lanes for Teddy with lure and if really desperate, where's Teddy. These same tricks can be used to get Teddy into melee for Flurry. On Teddy Ignores armour or flight are popular upgrade choices as they give him some extra speed or the ability to rend through constructs. For Kade Depression is popular as it allows him to get sweetbreads more easily upping his damage spread to 5/6/8 (I think) with backstab. 3. Both work fine alone but Teddy is probably going to be used more often though. Teddy has a lot more reliable defensive abilities than Kade and the opponent will need to burn cards to drop him, if you aren't careful Kade will just die to a single activation. hoodedrider Posted August 15, 2015 Report Share Posted August 15, 2015 Pandora is good at keeping them both alive. -flips to wp means the enemy will have a much harder time targeting the pair. And since Kade is a Woe, she can absorb some wounds from him. Dreamer is also good since he can bump Teddy's regen upto +5 if he has no Waking condition and can push Teddy around as well Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thank you for the correction. I knew Kades Df was high but had forgotten it was all the way up at 7. As Math says though even with the 7 he will still go down scarily fast due to his almost complete lack of other defences. Once he has activated he can't even rely on Manipulative defending him.
