Bumpasses
Are the mushroom clouds supposed to represent AOE's? if so, how do they work? ty -gb
ArcticPangolin
They represent 50mm blast markers. I don't have the rules with me else I would point you to the page in the rulebook concerning blasts. Honestly, they're that much a part of the game that they'll be in the index at the back, so just look them up there when you get the chance. First blast marker is base-to-base with the target on any side, and any further blasts beyond the first (if there are any) place in base contact with the last blast marker. Blast markers can be placed over/under other models. Any models touching blast markers and have LoS to the target are affected. The target gets the damage value of what you flipped, any models touching any of the blasts (aside from the target) get the next damage range down. Red joker counts as severe for the number of blasts generated, severe plus weak damage for the target, and moderate damage to models touching blast markers. fengor
One tip: If you are playing against an opponent with lure, try to activate the model with blot out the sky late in the turn. Because if you activate it early either the archer or the model with the upgrade will be lured out of 6inch after their activation
Lysis
A tactic that I like to use if you expect to face Lures in your game: Sidir + By your side You can either just put Blot the sky on sidir, or have him jump in front of the Lure with "By Your Side". He cannot be moved by lure, and is going to block LoS with his 40mm base (protecting you from a second attempt from the same belle/beckoner).

zFiend
Amazing AND irritating. All at once! Oh yeah, he sure is both. Depending on which side of the table he is being friendly on.
ranger156
im a bit confused about this, does blot out the sky give me 2 blessed longbow shots or 1 hail of hachinosu shot per archer, can someone clear it up for me pls
Lysis
You get to take 1x (2) attack action per archer within 6" of the carrier. The only attack action that satisfies this criteria is Hail of Hachinosu At the end of the turn, take 1x Hail of Hachinosu attack per archer.
