mrmuffinface
First complete crew Children of December: Quite happy about how they turned out especially raspy and the Wendigo. The Golem could use some further lighter highlights. I wasn't sure what i was doing painting ice. December Acolytes and the Ramos Box are to come...
peebs
Great looking crew. I like the darker blue you've used on the golem and gamin - it makes a nice change from all the very pale ones I've seen.
KARGAIN
I like the wendigo and raspy! Nice blending. For the ice I would prefer more white and brighter highlights. Like an icecube. Keep it up!

mrmuffinface
Great looking crew. I like the darker blue you've used on the golem and gamin - it makes a nice change from all the very pale ones I've seen. Thanks. I'm happy with it overall. The lighter ice gamin was a test and i'm not sure how to make him match the others. Might not be worth it. As for the Golem It has such big surfaces it a bit unforgiving. I like the wendigo and raspy! Nice blending. For the ice I would prefer more white and brighter highlights. Like an icecube. Keep it up! I'm tempted to go back and try but the 'sharp' edges on the Golem are not really sharp its easy to mess up. The gamin with the long Icicle turned out the best because of its sharp features. Cheers for the feed back. Sweet, I really like them! thanks!
asrian
Thumbs up for the crew. I don't care what anyone says about the Wendigo model, I enjoy the action style pose of him and the guildsman that comes with him.

They look great Cheers!
mrmuffinface
Long time no paint... A magnetised Steam Arachnid and a December acolyte. Non heroic scale makes details very difficult to paint. For the Acolyte i was painting to match my Raspitina but i didn't turn out quite right the transitions are much harsher this time:

NIGHTHATER
Mrmuffinface, I like your work, it's pretty impressive. I agree with Kargain I'm not sure how I feel with the Deep Blue painting. That compiled with the fact I just can't stand the new Ice golem figure, and I think you should have gone more ice like painting. Not a big deal though still pretty cool. Nighthater Thanks. to be honest I was mostly interested in the wendigo and raspy. On the fence about the golem to me its just ok (More like trying to polish a turd for you i guess ). I think the dark blue worked better on the gamin. Im not a fan of painting large models nor Ice. I looked around and i found few attainable examples of ice painting. One by Mako in chronicles 9 looks amazing it it is also a darker scheme but with much better execution. I did think a bout a gloss varnish but im not sure.
Rotokultaxe
Great looking crew here! I don't mind the dark blue, but I think you should work up the highlights so the edges are a lot brighter (white or near white). The embedded handle effect is sweet (even though the lighter highlighting was the point...) I may go back. Also thought about some gloss varnish but not sure.
