Astrella
Since there's a thread on plastic ones too, I still have some me1 models lying around that I'd like to strip and paint again, but I'm not really sure what to use to get rid of the paint. Bengt
Anything you would use on plastic can be used on metal. You could also use acetone, it dissolves more stuff than most of those agents, including plastic models. The fumes are not very pleasant though. Mako
After years in a lab, I think acetone fumes are amazing He's right though, metals you can use almost anything on - fairy power spray, brake fluid, simple green, isopropyl alcohol, acetone... Astrella
Alright, going to soak them in some nail polish remover then. Thank you.
Eldarion
I've always had good luck with a 75% water, 25% Pine-Sol mix (for metals). Pine-sol will eat plastics, though, unless you lower the concentration dramatically.
Omenbringer
I am a huge advocate of Pinesol followed by a rinse under water and then another cycle of Simple Green for removing paint from metal minis.
