Maximum number of cards

Is that the limit of cards in hand is 6, but if spending a stone soul, can draw 2 extra cards with which would have 8 cards in my hand or should I discard 2?

When spending a soulstone you draw 2 cards then discard 2 cards. The only thing that can increase hand size is Arcane Reservoir.

During the turn after the draw step/phase you don't have a maximum hand size. Come the beginning of the next draw step/phase you would discard then draw to your maximum hand size.

The thing is that in the beta rulebook, states that you spend 1ss, take 2 cards, then discard 2 cards, so you go down again to 6. But in the final printed version of the rulebook seems not to be that clarification. Can anyone confirm that?

Don't forget Rush of Magic.  Draw an additional card (7), then discard down to 6.

Page 34 of the rulebook. I very clearly states you discard down to your maximum hand size before flipping for initiative. During your turn you can end up with as many cards in your hand as you can manage, but you'll end up discarding them when you start a new turn.

Which is accurate, but in this discussion misleading, as spending a SS to draw 2 more cards occurs during the draw phase.
