  1. I think the idea that after ANY activation ends, if the Rhino has 3 shaken tokens, it explodes. Damaging Friend or Foe. That seems like a cool effect and a nice balancing mechanic.

  5. Granted that game was against me. A lot of things went really well for me in that game. I think the only thing that appeared to be OP in that game was burying her and activating her first to take advantage of the free place as the first action. I had to really work to get the crows in my discard pile to give out stun. This was the first game in the open or closed beta that I did not use her almost last in every instance. Turn 1: no bury, stunned 4 models (ditching as many crows as I could-4) to stun 4 models (she activated third) Turn 2: no bury, Activated first, ordered Yas to charge Doppleganger (couldn't attack but took the Wouko Raider with him due to Masked agent upgrade) Turn 3: Bury, then activate immediately. Interacted to move Strat marker, then charged and killed Domodor.

    Are we OP?

    I don't think Guild overall is OP. I think Lady J and Sonnia specifically are a little OP. Some of our comments about Guild being OP are just giving @4thstringer a hard time. However, in all my beat games (Open and Closed), I have had more NPE experiences with Guild than any thing else. That said, it could be that I suck and get myself into bad situations and make poor choices when counter building my crew. I also play 4thstringer more than anyone else in my meta. In our last game (Youko vs Lady J), Lady J essentially deleted Both the Wanyudo and The Emissary with very little effort. And, I believe she had one action left at the end of that. The Emissary had taken some damage the first turn. I primarily play Asami, Misaki, and Youko. None of these models has close that amount of damage output. Sonnia is a different thing altogether. I think she has too much range (14). Burning is burning, I get that. I think her ranges should be dropped back to what they were before.
  7. She will take 2 dmg, then reduce it to only 2 flicker. It will survive. On your opponent's turn, there is nothing you can do and the Oni will be killed.

    Masked Agent

    Tonight, in a game, I used Masked Agent on Yasunori. When I charged, I used the With Me ability to place the Emissary in base contact with the charged model. My question is: Was this intended? IIRC, most models that have similar abilities mention a smaller size of the friendly model. This wasn't game breaking, but seemed a little odd. I wanted to double check on it.

    But, while startle is a descent bonus action, the other bonus action is not worth doing in most cases. The only reason to do it is to randomly remove cards from your opponent. At the cost of damage to Yasunori. That isn't worth doing. I feel like the Emissary is a better take for the points and has more utility.

    Going into the Open Beta, I felt that Yasunori was in an ok position. After seeing the Pale Rider's abilities in action, I realized that Yasunori is not worth taking in a game over most other versatile models in the TT pool. I say this because I watched a Pale rider move to the middle of the board and explode, doing 11 points of damage, burning, and slow on 4 models, then killing another model at a range of about 8 inches (while engaged) on a bonus action, I believe. In my opinion, the mechanic that the Pale Rider uses to gain fate tokens is FAR superior to Yasanuri's chasing fate. My game was with @4thstringer, He was flipping really well, but damn, I was amazed at how much better the Pale Rider was than Yasunori. Am I missing something here?

  12. Based on my experience playing against you, you don't use Nino nearly as much as you should. He was clearly the MVP in both games with Nacho last night.
