I don't really see why fuhatsu would be nerfed. If at all, make him 10SS Cost so Samurai get more appeal I just finished painting them and looked over the cards and tought... nothing much. Maybe give Hard to kill to them? or smething defensive? and even then the other in Keyword Minions are so good (Cryptologists i haven't found a use for yet) still don't see me taking them. But fun to paint. I second the Yasunori Buff, right now i only take him because it's such a goodlooking model That's a great idea, although changing lure to beckoning Call might serve the same purpose and would make them much more useful as well

Also kind of handy as i am Painting McCabe at the Moment, but yeah seems to be worth a try. Don't see Peacekeeper or Howard without SS Cache though Yeah Ivan can do most things, but Hoff has such an easy Access to + Flips, which ignores a lot of stuf i like to do to him. I think Jedza could hold out against Hoffmann but i lack the experience of playing her so far. I am not comfortable with playing nexus with a clock yet that needs more practice. From my experience keeping Eva alive is a challenge, because she is the great lynchpin mobilitywise. Don't expect to much from flexible morality, Enemy with stat 6 and x/x/6 dmg track focuses and she is most probably gone. I would advise taking flush with cash and using it consequently. I feel biased about Corvis, cause he is very much in between roles, but i think his greatest asset is still the two triggers to move enemy models, which he can use price of progress for. I think otherwise you can fairly well play it with either version of Ivan, although the new Title kind of seems to your thing then, along with the new enforcer. Think i would be willing to give it a go as well, although it seems like A challenge Mod for playing Ivan :)

Hey guys, after like 20-25 games in the society i am fairly happy (and either i am not the kind of powergamer but idon't feel that ES are any better than my other factions) But i got a general question about how to pick into: 1) Acranists... I feel like Kaeris Hoffmann and Mei Feng shut down a lot of my choices (Cooper and Anya for sure, don't know about McCabe). Especially the Chance of running into Hoffmann 2 kind of makes me think to nearly always go with Seeker and Jedza1. 2) Hoffmann specifically... i don't like the Matchup with any Crew so maybe personal weakspot, but even with hiring Kiya OOK, with the new enforcer he shuts down so many things i can do against him, and if my opponent merely flips moderately average i feel like having a disadvantage. NOW, before answering: I am not complaining about Hoffmann or arcanists, i am just struggling and looking for advice before putting in some more games against them. and Symbols of Authority in general: I think McCabe is nice but otherwise? appreciate advice

I pretty much feel that Aeslin is extremely lackluster and there is little motivation to take her along. When i reread the card i think "great" - when someone brings her to the table she creeps along somewhere on the table and doesn't do anything really. I think cradle of life trigger on Germinate would be neither overpowered nor out of style and that way she could have easier access to more space on the gaming table, which i feel is her main weakness

I don't see why any amalgam should be nerfed. It always felt like an allright opponent after the Nerf of Levi hm... i don't not know if complaints should resolve in nerfs, i'm always hoping that complaints are good for a shift in the meta. If armor is crying about anti armor thats really no need for a change , it's really their responsibility to get sensitive to when to deploy the tanks... Taylor has a rather cheap way to get fast via the student of conflict, which will get more tabletime due to the title Viks. I had good sucess with fast+Focused Taylor which can get 21 inch Threat-Range and will most likely hit anything for 6 dmg. Shrug off is situational but with the new mass incoming of stunned slow and staggered it's honestly such a good skill for a brawler. The only thing i always felt is that she kinda dies a bit too fast, but that's the theme of the crew, live fast, die young. Bishop is iffy vs ranged. There is always the question if you are using enough Terrain then. Otherwise he is a liability when vendetta is in the pool. if you can apply pressure with other models Bishop can control the other flank and get u points, no other scheme runner can really compete 1v1 (bar maybe First Mate)

Buuuuut.... if you drop those models against someone without AntiArmor Tech than it is mostly GG already, so i think a model like MadDog would be needed in any faction. I rather not have the Armor +2 Balls, which are far more off the Mark than any Model with decent ArmorPenetration in my opinion.

Why would you nerf Maddog? He is already going down rather fast and they upped him to 10 making him 11 OOK. With you on Lazarus and Johan, i think bishop is just very matchup and positioning dependend, and as he is a 3 AP Model any kind of buff must be subtle because of the multiplier. Lazarus just needs a decent 6vsDF 12'' 2/3/5 Shooting action imho. I rather like Taylor, why does she need a buff? like HTW or armor 1 or what do you have in mind? why would you cap bleeding disease? it's the one thing thats attractive about hamelin. Apart from loads of rats. Honestly i think weakening Hamelin isn't necessary

Yeah, i think we pledge our level at the beginning of the year and anyhow most people show what they want to paint off at the start of the month anyway. i'm with brushgit there, some months turn out differently then you planned and then there is no sense in being disappointed in that you didn't exactly met what you wanted to achieve. I got lots of resin at work, it's not as straightforward as you might think but it can of course be used, i just don't have an UV Lamp at home. And if it doesn't harden completely you get lovely smears which you have to clean with chemicals. But it sounds as if i am not owning the right product, do you have a brand example? The Horns on the Malisaurus... i usually listen to audiobooks and at some point had a lengthy conversation with an old friend via Discord and kinda switched off... i think the Horns took up half of the overall time spend on the miniature and i basically skipped the higher midtone and the black.

On a sidenote, are there any objections to me inviting people here on YTube? Have to check with Wyrd anyways, just the question if it's like wanted or not, I will only bring it up this one time promised

It was great fun, i sometimes miss the bigger more unrealistic Models in Malifaux. Like when you painted 15 Monks it's definitely time for someting with tentacles for me So we do it like this: each month everyone is who is willing is going to pledge a certain technique / Material / Colourscheme that he*/she* wants to work on and additionally there is a general theme each month where everybody shares their thoughts on one specific hobby Component (like brushes in January)?

Happy New Year EveryOne! Late to the Party, my January Pledge will encompass as much Nexus as i can eat. Hope i got more done than the bases.... For Brushes i use Leonhardy Kappel Series (and kind of always have) for the finer kind of Acrylics, after testing some other brands i still like the value you get for the money. Armypainter brushes for Mixing and applying Glue and basing material and so on. I use a variety of random Synthetic Brushes for Oils. And abuse AK Interactive brushes for drybrushing. The Thing with brushes and me is, i own like 60 and use 5 for 98% of the time. Aaaaand i forgot: Cleaning Brushes is a good thing in my opinion, pretty much on only my second/third set after 12 Years. Used Masters Soap, Using Jo Sonjas Brush Conditioner now (which is way more easy to handle) and i vouched i would spend more time on single Minis so i present the first 10SS of 2022 I am kind of happy sad thing about the lines visible from assembly, but the set let me down and after investing more than 1 blob of milliput i got impatient.

Yeah... thats something i should have been doing for a long time, but i am too lazy to do it, how do you go about it? because half of my GW Paints by now have the consistency of tar Shall we send some Vallejo Paints over to you? I am Using a mixture of Vallejo Paints and games Workshop Paints, i wanted to go deeper into oil colours and bought some Kymera Acrylics but haven't really made a headstart on using either of those

Never faced the Rider, from an opponents perspective, Hinamatsu is nightmare, great model, high mobility, annoying as hell. also she provides a lure which can be great. The emissary is a very solid model and can provide great boardcontrol with his hungry Land Markers and is more or less stapled to all Titania and Zoraida Crews that i play against. Just give your in Keyword models some Playtime at some point, maybe you can find a use for them too

i can only advise not only to shake the Colours well but to also stir the pigments at the bottom of the pot, like 10% of all contrast paints seperate pretty harshly, which at first sight i didn't get because it was a new series of paints. I wouldn't worry to much though it's probably one of the minis where it's no big difference
