  1. 1. Investigator can solo deny end game schemes. He will be priority target and he has nice stats. This certainly can be used in your favor. He seems really nice. 2. Jury has Phionas potential and they fit nicely in their niches. I dont see they will compete often - they do different things. And she is quite tanky. 3. Riotbreaker. Mainly Hoff's and Lucius Toy. And it can be really good in either. In lucius he is so mobile, its not even funny. Just shove him in a tight spot and do your thing. 4. Domador. Nellie can cheat his damage. Go go blast heal/damage. And she will love this nice and cozy ball of death with Phiona and somebody else fetching targets by Lure. I will certainly try it. 5. Monster Hunter. Damn, they are so solid. 6 wk is a steal. Free actions, nice attack. Gimme, gimme. 6. Queller is nice utility piece. His wand is in fact really nice. Your opponent is a summoner? throw him some suppresion markers. Armor? yep. You go with Sonnia/Lucius and use your soulstones every turn? Have a free card. Arcane shield to boot. Maybe they dont have a solid role, but they have many uses and great stats. I think i will take at least one in control games.
  2. Ok, here is the deal: 1) make Sidir a construct. Power loop him in. 2) he doesn't have to use power loop stats himself, so power loop is there to stay. Right? 3) finally a '7' stat for Sh. Yay for emissar, hunters, Ryle. Another idea: Queeg with promises, lead lined coat, cyborged and with armor. he is not going down this way. Expensive, but gives out so many good things and you are not scared to lose him.
  3. I am really curious about exact wording of Hoff's aura. Is it "cannot ignore armor" or something else? I guess if damage can not be reduced (Hey Levetiicus), armor still sucks?
  4. Any info about the upgrades cost?
  5. Is there any news on Nellie, J and Perdita? McCabe: 1SS - Perfect Camouflage when on self, Dont mind me and Disguised when on others. 1SS - can switch one upgrade with the other (which is not in play and has restiction McCabe) when he activates.
  6. Smell Fear and other abilities like it resolve after the original action ends. Phiona's "It's me you're fighting" attack will be after the entire Nellie's action with all its triggers.
  7. To armor(and the pesky Hoff trigger!) in general. Only Dougie and Perdita had a good time, now its a land of opportunity.

  12. I think Santiago is kind of a trap.. his shooting becomes really good only when he is really hurt. But it does free his hair trigger slot for the debt to the guild.... Hm. This needs to be checked in real play =)
  13. So, I was thinking about new options with Jury. 1) The most obvious option is reliable card drain with austringers. Couple of them can drain the whole opponents hand with great success. I would love to try one with Nellie and Hannah for total card domination. 2) The return (?) of Nurse Hearthsbane. Should be a decent bodyguard for precious Jury. Though I doubt it will be this necessary. Too expensive probably. 3) McMourning "This one is ready" trigger. Clearly just a bonus, but a nice one. Double precise for any card for 1 AP, Nurses hand out pretty reliable quasi-paralyze for big opponent beaters without mask in hand, Hands Off! trigger. 4) Dita +damage trigger?.. Probably not worth it. Santiago can be worrisome, but too much a card drain without his own buff I think. And nobody takes him. 5) Sam's ricochet?... Nah, forget it. He is worthless anyway. 6) Judge's Blade's&Bullets. Can be quite a mayhem against low def targets. 7) Lady? I don't think she will be in the right place often. And she is always starved for cards. Deadly, though. 8) Guardian. Meh. 9) Guild pathfinder. Can work once in a lifetime. 10) Wastrel. Hahaha. No? 11) Dr Grimwell. Card for card. Nah. 12) Sanctioned spellcaster. This can be nice. Earthbound is pretty good. 13) DM recruiters. Obvious synergy. Free attack for a card out of activation can be really nice. 14) Lucius. Sniper needs less soulstones! WLackeysR4 made a little easier also. 15) McCabe. Slow trigger, on his own saber, 12TN (3) horror on ditched one. Pretty nice. 16) Domador de Cadaveres silly facts (other new models probably later, I don't think they will remove undead hiring, but other abilities on this and other models?... who knows, right?)): Dead Doxy's has an amazing trigger on confusing feelings Rotten belle can Lure counterspell targets (hard, but possible) Mercenaries (only worthy ones): 17) Killjoy. That's to expensive for a combo. But ok. 18) Ama No Zako. Never heard of her in guild. Trigger on attack to heal and (0) obey. I don't think this will work. 19) StrongArm. Slow on shoot. Too expensive, we have better ways to do it. 20) Sue. Amazing scrap and corpse deletion in the right conditions. 21) Aionus - shifting sands. Can work once in a blue moon. 22) Envy. Trample on mediocre close attack and silly condition on shoot? Meh. Your thoughts?

  15. I know this guy is used sometimes in McCabe crews, though rarely. But i was thinking about other masters and cant quite fit his cost in. Is there any point in using him ever? Any examples?
  16. What is this abomination?... But really, this can get a bit fun when you place Allison Dade and Dashel in the equation. Neverending Guards with lots of slow. No?) Common, you can even make a really potent gunline. Nellie - Delegation, Misleading Headlines, Guild Funds (optional,and you can substitute one Guild Guard for watcher for soulstone farming machine) Allison Dade, Dashel with Arrest them 4 Guild Guards, 2 Guild Rifleman. Everything close will be slowed and pushed away by Nellie and Allison. Everything far( but not far enought) will be decimated by fast riflemen. And some of those arrests are bound to be done. And Dashel will also be shouting for some more guards. Haha, i need to try this. And you have enough activations for some schemes and Guild Guards are actually quite nice for the job. Not that quick though...
  17. He did this. Summon, hit moderate, 3 spiders with a stone. He got lucky with the initial card draw, i guess. He never had to move much - summoning spiders was pretty much his only job. I guess Hoffball is nice, but i dont have Howard and Rail Golem so i did not consider it. And he was really carefull with his Lazarus - he always was touching terrain in the right spot, so no nice harpoon pushes. And i never had good experience with Ryle - i guess he is very niche. McMorning with Sebastian seems nice. I think it is pretty decent to spend some stones for his cover skill early and push him forward with Frank's Hermanos de Armas. 8 range aura seems just right for this kind of situation. And probably Brutal Emisarry with his poison blasts will come in handy.

  19. I have everything guild has except Thralls and Guild Marshal Recruiters. My most played masters are Hoffman, Nellie and Doug, Lucius after them. I think my list with Lucius was not really good (and i also was not really sure about avoding 10% possibility of him choosing Marcus). Phiona and Dopelganger did nothing, rest of my crew were just killed from the safe distance and finished by ramming Howard. At least i was able to kill him back granting me the total of 1 point for the game) Franchute, I think Perdita could work, but i cant quite guess the party composition.
  20. Hello. I need some advice on a specific encounter. Extraction, Flank deployment Claim Jump, Undercover Entourage, Dig Their Graves, Set Up, Eliminate the Leadership. 90% chance the opponent will pick Ramos. His most used setup is as follows: Ramos -Electric Summoning -Seize the Day. -Arcane Reservoir Brass Arachnid Howard Langston -Imbued Energies McTavish -Imbued Energies Lazarus Performer The map has lots of terrain , but all the pieces are not that large and LOS lines can be drawn almost freely across the board. The actual game have alredy been played, and i lost horribly. Main mistake was taking Lucius i guess. Never had any chance to do anything in my favor. After the game i just kept thinking about this game, but i cant quite grasp the right crew to challenge those range monsters of his. Extraction is easily done by spiders, Claim jump is easy as pie in the other corner and i cant quite get to the main points before dying from Tavish or Lazarus. Any ideas?
