  1. If it's in your pool of models you don't have to hire it for the individual game. Just leave it out if your crew list for that game.
  2. My starting campaign list was very successful and was: Nekima + Mimic's Blessing Mature Nephilim 2 X Terror Tots Primordial Magic The list has both killing and scheme running. To start with I ran just 1 tot and took the extra soulstones for my list. For or yours id say lose true mother. It's a lot of points if you can only grow a single tot. I'd rather take rapid growth and mimic's blessing.
  3. Thanks for all the responses everyone. Lots of ideas to consider. Having been spoiled with options in Neverborn I think I'm going to dislike Stake a Claim coming up for my Guild!
  4. Hello all, this is my first post in the Guild forum having recently switched from Neverborn a couple of weeks ago. I currently have Perdita, Sonnia and Lady J boxes along with Aurstringers and Dr Dufresne on the way. My gaming group and I were theoryfauxing what we would do if we were playing Stake a Claim. When in Neverborn i had a few different options including Silurids and the Cherub reducing the cost of interact actions. But I have no idea how I would go about this strategy with a Guild crew. Any suggestions on this topic are most welcome.
  5. Tickets are going well for this event. We are over half full at the moment. Please keep spreading the word. It would be great to see loads of you at this event!

  9. You're most welcome and I hope you do make it to one of our events. John
  10. Ideally we'd start earlier but the venue only opens at 10am I'm afraid. We have 15 mins between game 1&2 and 3&4 to allow for scores to be put in and people to have toilet breaks etc. Plus with lunch being only 30mins I think we'd struggle to save much time without making the games less than 2 hours, which I'm not that comfortable doing or losing the 4th game. It was a big call when designing the programme whether I went for 3 or 4 rounds. Certainly from a TO perspective 3 rounds would be easier but I feel that 4 rounds offers better value for money and a full day of gaming. It's a really tough call to decide what is best but unless there is a large portion of the community who can't attend because of the finish times I think I should keep on as it is. I do do understand your frustration though and am sorry that this will prevent you from attending this event. I will be running further events in 2016 which, I'm sure, will involve some being 3 rounds and hope that you will be able attend one of those as we'd really like to see you at Warboar and Paradice. John

  18. Hi Peter, I think the name you may be waiting for is James Henley. I assume schemes will be revealed on the day? John
  19. Thanks for putting the list up. Just to say the other ticket I bought is for Andy Bradshaw.
  20. Is there an attendees list anywhere for this?
  21. Thanks to the huge generosity of Lee and Zac I will be making the journey to Bristol for this. I have just sent my payment by Paypal.
  22. Hi John, At the moment Zac and I are driving up on the day and back again. You can grab a lift with us if you fancy it. It would mean getting over to Chessington/Kingston/Surbiton fairly early, but the option is there. that would be brilliant. I will check on getting to you but imsure it'll be fine. I'll DM you on here hopefully later tonight.
  23. As a friend of mine lives in Bristol and has offered to put me up for the night, I might be able to make the journey from Surrey for this if I can get a cheap coach ticket.
