  1. I wonder about queens champion could be attached to Lazarus ? With such high armor (not a common sight in neverborn) and ability to do blasts this could lead to a lot of shame markers for titania deceitful ways ?
  2. Also with the Asami Box out his remove condition on attack can be gamewiner vs flicker foes If you have T10 in your meta be sure to get this guy.
  3. While I get that wisps are awesome in Zordia (and spawn mother) lists where else would they be useful ? Also in regards to lure like ability (because opponent can always elect not to move and only shoot) does it mean that he MUST take the shortest route possible even if it meant taking damage ? (like 1" of dangerous ground marker of Emissary ?)
  4. So Titania is up for everybody to grab soon. What is your favorite combo with her ? I must say I love Titania + 2 1 SS upgrades (audience and behold) + black blood shaman. I don't know if I play this right but I tag her with black blood ability - pluck my opponent key models apart from the master into BtB with her and then black pustule the ST out of them. Please tell me that I'm not cheating because this looked so op on the table I must ask that its a valid tactic.
  5. Thanks everyone for great input - lets try to end the strategy section then [TOMES] - Headhunter - this is one strategy that can be tricky but is generally a favorable for us. It makes harder for ranged crews to score points so neverborn can do their thing. Now my pick is strange in this slot and I'll take time to support it. It's ... Titania. The main thing in this strategy is not only killing but moving and interacting. Titania can place enemy models and pop out markers that make certain of your models push. With fly she can change position. The main idea would be to pull enemy beater towards her and go after shame runners with some fast stuff of our own. I think it needs more testing but her and Lilith seam like 2 best neverborn models for this particular strategy. [CROWS] Guard the Stash - For this my main pick would be Lilith - very savvy los blocking capabilities, good ability to kill of models herself and no LOS needed to pluck enemies from one of two objectives and substitute them with models of your own. Lilith also is good fit with taking another beater and this is really good in this strategy. [JOKERS] Collect The Bounty - This is best for crews that can kill and don't do it all at once. I think Lynch is super good at this - if you are using his upgrade ability you can count the points and in last activation go for the kill on the model that gives you a point OR takes it away from enemy. Now that I think of it after schemes I will do some kind of exel file with ranks for each described master that helps you to pick master for exact set of schemes and strategies. Declaimer - this are my views only and I don't play much Collodi and Zorida so they are not prominent here.
  6. A lot of views not a lot of content. So I will start. First with the strategies: [RAMS] Extraction - this one is old and tested. Best crews are simply the ones that can easily control the bubble. This strategy is possible for 2 players so it would be also possible to clog the middle but this is not the neverborn way. We should always try to move the marker to our advantage and deny opposition by killing models inside. Crews that kill in a bubble will provide more then crews that can only control it (we don't have as many cheep and easy pushes). For this strategy I would consider 2 masters: Pandora and Collodi. Both crews are good at killing and strong in a bubble while also have some control elements over field in general. [MASKS] Interference - this is too old time favorite. It can also be scored by 2 players and involves totally different attitude then previous one. There will be 4 strategically important quoter of the table that you need to control 3 to get maximum benefit (you a point and opponent none). In case of hard hitting somewhat fragile neverborns there are 2 very good candidates: Dreamer and Lynch. Dreamer can summon more minions that easily claim quoter and can sit there while stronger elements try to remove opponents out of position (towards 6" of the board) while lynch has nice synergy with luring models and can hit very very hard and lessen the possibility of opponent interfering with scoring (last activation with woke up with a hand comes to mind) any thoughts ?
  7. Hello, I'm beginning the be fed up with neverborn (and also I have almost all of them now). I wanted to get into outcast for a long time. I always liked the idea of Tara and the nothing beast. Could you tell me how master tiers in outcast look after errata ? I'm just considering getting her and 2 other masters to have my starting lineup. I thought about going the malifaux way so weird stuff - Tara, Jack and Levi OR Hammelin - i like him very much also. Can you tell me what masters are consider best tournament choice in outcast ?
  8. I think expert cheater depends on how well you play mindgames and how prone to them your opponent is. Sometimes opponents play within their own minds and simply react to facts on the table and hard probabilities of what is in the deck and don't dabble into things like "is he faking a high card or not". In a way to gauge how prone opponent is you can simply use mysterious effigy instead of terror tot and see how well it does vs certain opponent.
  9. Sure - the more input the less error you get - but I would say that over a hundred tournaments between UK and USA is pretty good indicator of whats going on. On top of that - the larger pool would be good given it is taken roughly at the same time - We can accumulate more and more observations but are observation from before errata as valid as those after ? And so on - not to take this thread off rail by musing about statistics - I think wyrd guys are acctualy on top of this sort of thing. I actually find malifaux as one of the most balanced games at the moment - just not getting why people find neverborn so op (i must suck with them then :P)
  10. I don't think it has anything to do with average score. And I would consider it an effect of USA being much bigger country - more distance between tournament venues. As a curio in Poland the top faction - by the rankings is crossroads seven
  11. Number of player has no direct influence. This average data is measured by taking how many points players that played given faction got and dividing by their number. So more players - more points but higher division. Pie chart only shows how many players played. Pie chart only shows how many players play this faction - so it gives popularity not performance.
  12. http://www.malifaux-rankings.com/#/
  13. Nope it isn't. You take only UK into account. Faction (USA + UK)/2 Outcasts 57,01 Ten Thunders 53,32 Gremlins 52,53 Neverborn 52,015 Arcanists 50,765 Resurrectionists 50,63 Guild 46,405 Excuse my crude pasting skills. As you can see I added rankings from UK and USA and divided by 2 (for more in line look). Neverborn are actually in the middle.
  14. Yup you do that - it will give you time to check how tournament scores look in USA - I think top neverborn player is around 20 place ? In UK it is different story but one can argue that mr Elwood would win even with Lucius and half a gremlin.
  15. Ok so the new GG are out. We had some time to look them up and now we can discuss what masters gained and loosed based on each strategy and scheme pool. So what do you think ? Did Dreamer got cuddled ? Did Titania get buffed ? State your opinions here.
