Have bean a little diverted The Facebook group A Wyrd Place is having a January challeng to make and donate a bit of terrain to a henchman/game club and I have decided to join in I will be making "The Tree Of Life" This is a free wall paper I have had for a bit and is the inspiration for what I plan to build WIP. The bace is the size of the Turf war zone and would be considered hight 1 hard open ground (no -wak)

Best bet is to find you local sign maker It cost me about £28 for a 4" x 4" and you can get it in a range of thickness

Lovely work on all of them How is it playing on the hillside bord? It looks gorges but I have found in the past highly detailed gaming bords come with minature "trip" hazards

The bord is MDF coved in cut card for the flags and brick work, it took me so long as each brick was stuck down individually. The man hole covers in the brick zone each have one of the suits on them. The flags have bean arranged to show deployment zones ( in only two corners in hindsight wish I had don all ) centre lines and 6inch from center The tower is made from FoamX (sintra in the U.S.) I love the stuff "Foamex is a brand name for PVC foam sheet (or foam PVC), sometimes known as Forex, Foamalite or Palite. Don’t confuse it with the soft, spongy board known as “Foamcore” which is sometimes used for mounting pictures" http://www.print-2-media.com/signage/what-material-should-i-choose-for-my-sign-rigid-signs/ Unlik fome bord it is much tougher and ridged, but with a bit of heet it becomes malubel. It can be stuck with super glue or poly cement. It can be scored and marked to create textur and takes paint really well.

Put me down for this one sounds like the last one was fun and only 20 minutes from my door

I think the tournament structure would most likely pull more players from the northern contingent ( the ones at the ranking top ) but don't let that limit the format, for instance Halifax ( halifaux ) is using a grow format, starting at 30ss and ending at 50ss. There are many formats a tournament can take and moving away from straight up 50ss fixed fraction would get my interest. I would say that splitting a two day thing into two one day events is the way to go because many find it easier to fit a one day in around work / family.

Got a little side traced today. Have wanted to do this for a while and I now ( thanks to mythicFOX ) have the amozonion size ronin to do it. It's still a WIP but take a look at my dopolganger alt

Primordial magic is a bit of a scrap build, a GW bit for the mouth, a jar off of sum game that was in my bits box and sum green stuff
