Can't recommend the one from Omenbringer enough! I've already started printing posters and getting ready for signups using his system. Doesn't even need much tweaking for 2e, main thing is just to change around dates/locations/prices and that kind of stuff

Because I'm lazy, I got craters from GW. They work well as severe terrain, and you can easily sit models on them

Just wondering if there is a format that Wyrd uses for running leagues for Malifaux, like the Journeyman league PP uses? Looking to start one up soon in my local area, and thought there might be a structured one I could follow.

Just have a talk to the shop owner and tell them what you are trying to do, and that you plan on becoming a Henchman. If they are reasonable, they should help you out and not sign anyone else up.

Really love the look of these models, was just wondering when they are due out? Couldn't find anything to answer the question

I'm doing much the same thing myself at the moment. I run demo games and teach people how to play the game while I paint up my crews, and that way when I do finally apply I can say that I have been playing and demoing for a few months and already have a number of crews for people to use. As said above, just because you are not a Henchman it doesn't mean you can't run demo games or teach other people how to play

Just got the Collodi box set, and was looking for some advice on how to use him. I have read up on PullMyFinger, but was wondering if people out there could give me some more advice on how to run him. I mainly just got him because a bunch of creepy little dolls running around sounded like a fun idea.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I was looking to buy Dreamer and Lord Chompy but can't find them on the senators. Are they still available, or have they been pulled in preparation for plastics?

Dumb question: why lure when you are already in combat?

I posted this in the other mobile app thread, but I would love to see something like Warroom come out for Malifaux (just less buggy). I would happily drop cash on card decks, just for convenience of having access to those cards whenever I wanted

I would be happy if Wyrd made an App like PP did with Warroom (just better, and less buggy). Would happily pay money to get all the faction decks and upgrades. Makes it quick and easy to make a list yourself, or to look at potential models you might want to buy. Also good for looking at a friends models, see what they can do or what their weakness is.

Guess you haven't seen the entire thread dedicated to "I want everything given to me for free, but I promise I will still buy models"... Just checked the app again out (with the updates) last night. Still think it's great and is really handy, especially when teaching new people

If you already are complaining about not getting everything for free, then this (and probably every other miniature game) is not for you and you should just quit now

Haven't see Lucius before (or read through his cards), but I highly recommend Lady J for a starter and she is what use when teaching new people. Firstly she is a combat machine which is a good transition tool for people coming from warhammer or warmahordes (as I did, and as is everyone I teach), because they can still go with 'get into combat and kill everything' mode those games instill. The Judge is a good allrounder, he is good at ranged or melee combat but also has some useful abilities. The Death Marshals are also good at range combat, but with the ability to ignore severe terrainand hard to wound they are good objective runners. So as a whole, I find they give a good spread for introducing Malifaux playing while transitioning from Warhammer/WarmaHordes playing.

So you want all the model rules for free, and then there is nothing to stop you proxying or using models from another range so Wyrd make no money from you at all? I haven't seen a game company yet that gives you all the rules for all of their stuff for free, and any that did would probably go out of business pretty quick

Just 2 questions: 1. When can I get these models? 2. Why isn't the answer to #1 right now. Given I have only been back in the game a month and I'm up to 9 starter crews, I think these would nicely round me out to 10

I thought that was how it read, but wanted to check because my friend and I thought that was a pretty strong maneuvere if you can jump someone with as many Belles as you want

Quick question that came up in a game tonight: if a Rotten Belle uses Lure to pull an enemy into the engagement range of another Belle, can the second Belle use Pounce? Or if the first Belle used Lure to pull an enemy into engagement range of her and another Belle, can they both Pounce on the enemy? Orcan you only Pounce with the Belle you are currently activating?
