  1. I really dig the makeup and the hair color.
  2. All I can say is Damn. Just damn. Really nicely done I wish I could paint like a 1/4 as well as you.
  3. Thanks I had no idea how this stuff works.
  4. So how long for the iOS app? Just trying to get a time frame of like a a few hours or a few days.
  5. It is and I hate it when happens all the time. Just because it is the normal practice does not mean I have to like it.
  6. I think Wyrd would have to be really dumb to put out wave 2 plastic masters before they even have the wave 1 Masters done. Then it just looks bad like they can't finish what they start and they will just jump on to the next thing before being done with the last. Well that is my 2 cents.
  7. Wave 2 Card Updates 7-1-14 Some of the Wave 2 cards were modified between their PDF versions available for free download and their final printing. These changes are listed here. This section will be removed from the 9-1-14 update, as by then the final printings will be available and the PDFs will no longer be available for download. Neverborn The True Mother: The text on Born of Blood was changed to: Once per Turn, when an enemy model within a 2 is killed due to the Black Blood Ability or the Black Blood Pustule Action, this model may discard a card to summon a Terror Tot in base contact with the model before removing it. The summoned Terror Tot suffers 2 damage, ignoring the Black Blood Ability, and it may not benefit from the Grow or Mature Abilities during the Activation in which it was summoned. Collodi: The text on the My Bidding Trigger was changed to: After dealing damage to target non-Leader, if the target was not killed, the target performs a (1) Action chosen and controlled by this model's controller. This Action may not declare Triggers. Spawn Mother: The text on Nourish the Young changed to: Until the end of the Turn, other friendly models which begin their Activation within 6 of this model receive +2Cg for the remainder of the Activation. This Action may only be taken once per Turn. Arcanists Purifying Fire: The text on Purifying Fire changed to: Friendly models within 6 do not suffer damage from the Burning Condition. Instead, they heal that amount of damage. Models which are Immune to Burning or otherwise reduce the damage to 0 may not heal in this way. Mechanical Rider: The text on the Fated Strike Trigger changed to: After damaging an enemy, draw a card. This Trigger may only be declared once per Turn. Mechanical Rider: Added “non-Effigy” to the Revel in Creation Action. Outcasts The Guilty: Upped base size to 40mm. Obedient Wretch: The text of the Stink of Death Trigger is now: After damaging and determining whether the target was killed, if the target is still in play, summon a Malifaux Rat into base contact with the target. Pulled right from the FAQ PDF found here
  8. Oh man I am really hyped for that iOS one.
  9. Well all the crew boxes from wave 1 are more or less equal. Some of them are just better at doing stuff like killing or grabing objectives. Masters are a huge part of the game. Most of them tie their crews together (Like McCabe) and that 3rd AP makes a huge difference in their impact in the game vs a Henchman. There is almost never a point when you will not have a master running your crew. But I am just saying this more a warning than anything else because there is a person in my gaming group that keeps forgetting he has a 3rd action with his master because he never learned it when he was picking up the game. It has lost him a lot of games . The only other thing I would do is add a 2nd scheme. Do to the fact you will always have 2 when you play this is also a good thing to learn up front. Maybe something like frame for murder then you get a good well should I kill this models or am I falling right into the enemy's plans. Now this is all just stuff I have seen from my local area and from my history learning the game. Feel free to take what you want and drop the rest.
  10. Are you playing Lady J or is they guy you are demoing to player her? Because if you are not playing Lady J you should pick up on of the Reser masters. Lady J has good strengths vs all of them (To give the nooby some help ) and they show off some of more game diversity. Nicodem shows off summoning, Seamus shows positioning play, and McMorning shows how debuff and conditions work (Also McMorning is also a guild master). On the other hand if you want to fill your own points and demo I would say go Sonia she is easy to pick up and just play for teaching demo. Also Perdita has some really good models for the guild like Francisco Ortega his buff to give someone +2 Df and +2 Wp is really strong on Lady J and Perdita is really strong in her own way as well but if you would need to play a 35 SS game to make her starter box work it is all named characters so they are pricey. As for McCabe I would keep new guys away from him he is really tricky to for new players to deal with. The more I think about it you really want want to run like a 35 SS game because the masters are a big part of this game and it is best to learn how they work from the start. Hope that helps
  11. At the end of the day he is DF 4 with 13 WD so just hitting him with high min damage and high Sh , Mi and Ca that goes on Df. the 2 times I have killed him are with a flurrying peacekeep and perdita just shooting him. He is not that hard to kill and his real strength is pushing his crew at you and assassinating/locking down 1 model. But 99% of the time you want to kill his crew and get VP over dealing with him.
  12. I need to mess around with the one new card I got with my lone marshal. But I to me they feel a lot nicer and more sturdy. The one really nice thing about these cards is they don't slide around like the old ones do since they have a very glossy finish. Also I don't lose wounds from flipping my cards over and the dry erase rubbing off on a table. But I still need to see if they stain over time (I don't get a time to use the lone marshal that much).
  13. As a guild player it kind of sucks that the Executioners come 2 in a box cause I just bought a metal one 2 days ago -___-*. But they look great and it is so cool they have a 2nd type of claws now. As for the guild guard I really don't like them as many people have said they don't look like they are part of a police force or even related in an way the old guild guard. That is a huge problem because I love the old uniforms and how they stood out with the new ones they just kind of look like random dude and dudette. Hell they look like they are Pistolero De Latigo than anything else. Well I guess I should pick up a pack of the metal ones before they all disappear.
  14. Francisco Ortega is pretty good since he can give her +2 DEF which brings her def to something respectable and he can pull Melee dudes off her.
