  1. Vs also summoning off of killing feels really good into our "who needs non-neg flips defenses" keywords.
  2. I'd probably feel that way but I haven't played against Colette or shen in gg1 I agree with all of this, but would add that anti summon tech is almost as bad. Barrier to another world is absolutely awful. Exorcism is on models that struggle to get the suits, and in keywords that don't cycle cards, so it's absolutely great when you can, but it can easily let you down. The jury's one is probably the best of the bunch, but even it is but the reason to take jury. The anti summon tech being bad is part of 1. Wyrds fear of having a. "blue mtg" experience and 2. Why summoners are always amongst the best models and masters in the game.
  3. Do you have opposing masters that if you face them with guild, you feel really bad about your chances? For me, I feel that way about Levi, dreamer, shtook, kirai, and cadmus. It's probably the salt monster in me, but with any of those I give myself a 20% chance at best. Do y'all have this experience?

  8. I think @admiralvorkraftmight be onto something though. We all know phiona is gonna get a nerf leaving her in the Agent 46 club of bad. So can we use the strengths of the guardian to take her place?
  9. Has anyone played dita into it? That's the other one I can think of, but I'm skeptical.
  10. How bunched up is plaags emissary club? Could you take him out with greed? (I'm sure he's reading this to say "if you could have before you can't now")

  14. 2 ideas do deal with jamming nests. 1. Obey them, tell them to go away. 2. Alan Reid seems particularly well suited for dealing with them. But yeah, I agree they are a problem. But they are a problem I struggle with with every guild crew.
  15. I think taking out archivist is definitely lucius's biggest problem. Archy loves to see min 2 damage coming at him. That being said, mitigating the other parts I wonder if luci could weather the storm.
  16. I've been playing more against Nathan Ls cadmus (forget his forum name), and he doesn't use it. But lucius can pack obeys or lures in his crew.
  17. This is all theoryfaux, but hang with me. This is going to be a wild ride. The way I see it, Lucius has three good things about his matchup into nexus. 1. Decent protection from the initial parasite push. Many of lucis crew are either disguised or can put attackers on negatives, which will make the nests have a hard time getting that first pinning parasite off. And lucius crews have decent wp and good card draw to handle the simple duels that lead to parasites, and shielded from the lawyers can help with that too. 2. Pass tokens let lucius get cards. Does your opponent want to summon 3 e&e? Sure go ahead, but lucius will get cards from it. When he uses the pass tokens. 3. Misinformation is great against low wp. Especially ones that want to get in your face. 4. Lucius can use hidden sniper to attack those key hard to reach models. I'm not sure this pays off, but I feel like luci could really pressure nexus herself and meredith with some hidden sniper shots. I'm not sure that's enough to deal with what cadmus is cooking but it might be worth a try. I've also been giving some thought to greed, which is just horrifying, and the undercover reporter, which I don't hate.
  18. I'm usually feeling ok about guild, then I play against dreamer/Levi/vs/kirai/cadmus/ivan etc and it all feels so hopeless that I'm salty for days. I don't have that problem when playing somer or nekima (the only times I leave guild behind).
  19. Last edition I felt like we could definitely play kill first scheme later. We might not brawl on top of everyone, but we were damn close.
  20. The idea that we struggle with diff is still here, but your Denial there was nice.

  22. One big word of caution from one 2e guild player to another. The faction plays significantly differently than last edition. We still struggle with mobility and scheme running, but we aren't the top of the killing pile by any means. I found the adjustment between editions to be a tough one.
  23. I see things like this expressed sometimes. Besides the domador (who pings everyone) I'm not sure I see that ping damage potential.
  24. How much of our round 2 success vs. round 1 losses do you think was due to the pool, rather than the matchups?
