  1. There's a good chance I'm missing something but I'm only getting to 24 SS after upgrades and pool On a different note the samurai are absolutely awesome. I may need to start a Ten Thunders crew at some point in the future
  2. Sure sooner or later everybody will buy additional stuff for their crew but other boxes (as far as I'm aware) don't actually need them to be played. Kirai needs additional models to make the 26 soulstones necessary to field a master (with no henchman in the box)
  3. Thanks for the answer. Makes sense, I didn't knew about the older stat cards already being 2nd edition so I thought they must new. Makes me wonder though why I didn't notice all the other differences up until now, I starred at the damn cards for 5 minutes before I stared the thread and didn't notice
  4. Pretty simple question. The free wave 2 PDF says it's a minion, the Molly summoning reference card suggest the same since it's lists the student as summonable. My stat card that came with the university box say it's an enforcer. The most recent FAQ version mentions neither of them as wrong. Which is correct?
  5. I see. Guess I should have read the upgrades before. I'd add an oops smiley if I could find one.
  6. I'm a bit confused The Molly's Little Secret ability of the Necrotic Machine says what happens if the machine is summoned via the The Ones Left Behind action. But that action says only Resurrectionist Belle Minion models can be summoned and the Necrotic Machine is not a Belle. So how is this supposed to work exactly?
  7. What was the third of the three kingdoms again? Vietnam?
  8. can't speak for zfiend but I had a newsletter in my email account.
  9. And in Wyrds online shop too. How odd, maybe I'm just plain dumb, but I can't seem to find the January releases in the shop.
  10. I actually broke my head about this yesterday and for every possible combination of two cards 60% give you a better result with the statrock stat increase than with a positive flip (where the heck are the Malifaux specific icons?) on your defensive duel. Of course it all depends on how the rest of your crew is build, but with the slight advantage, the second ability of the rock and of course the option to boost your stat and gain a positive flip in case of an extreme emergency I wouldn't rule the rock out completely.
  11. It's not so much the rule, I'd actually like the opponent to shed cards, it's the idea behind it. Bribery is intollerable! Yes, I'm a bit crazy, I thought playing Malifaux that was a given.
  12. I would never hire Hans, simply because I refuse to tolerate a model that can be bribed into not shooting somebody. As for the statrocks, has anyone ever bothered, or is even capable, to do some math to check the probability of a:+fate being more useful than the stat increase of the stone? Unfortunately I can't figure out something like that for myself, sometimes I really miss the D6 of other games.
  13. All I know is when they happen at the same time, triggers are resolved before abilities. What does the Ice Gamin card say exactly?

  15. Not sure if this is the right place to put it, but the crew creator charges 2 soulstones for the guild upgrade 'Thalarian Stone' as opposed to the 1 soulstone that is printed on my arsenal deck card.

  17. So I confused myself over nothing. From now on I'll just assume the rules indeed mean what they say. Although for some reason keep imagining the crews playing a game of tag, while the Benny Hill theme is playing.

  19. I feel kind of silly for asking this because the rule itself is pretty clear, it's just that both me and my opponent thought it sounded odd and the oddity originates from a single letter. To remove the cursed object condition, do you really take a Wk duel? Using your ability to move across the board to get rid of a curse instead of the Wp stat, that you usually use to defend against magical shenanigans?

  21. Wouldn't a bigger Marshal with regular sized equipment look even more weirder, not to say silly?
  22. '13 of course. for '12 a year would have been rounded down.
  23. Since I posted in this thread before I thought I should mention that today, after waiting for a year (rounded up), my order arrived safely here in Germany.
  24. Pretty much what I had in mind. Not too bad, but no must have either and simply for the sake of playing owning two would make no sense. Decisions, decisions, sigh ...
  25. You're not the only one, so hopefully there's no need to wory yet.
