  1. I absolutely love Chameleon paint stripper, and it is designed for plastics. Good luck find it though. This page has some good comparisons on what to use...
  2. I haven't done any additional work on Miss Step, but here's a newer, better focused image that I dropped the contrast in while jacking up the brightness. It should provide a better example of where I am so far...
  3. I would love to see the demographics for this poll. e.g. How many folks over a certain age voted for the "Poop sign" and how many voted for "Pokemon", etc. Let's call it morbid curiosity.
  4. Here is my progress with Miss Step so far. Sorry for the slightly blurry pic. It's all I was able to do at work. Next photos will be better. I've blocked out her body's metal components with Vallejo's Tinny Tin and put down two thin basecoats of Citadel's Leadbelcher on the manhole cover, then put a couple of thin even coats of Citadel's Bugman's Glow on her exposed skin. I then gave her metal body components and the manhole cover several thin washes of Citadel's Athonian Camoshade (a great "dirty" wash. Very brown, green, and black). Next up I'll begin picking out the brass components on her body. As always, comments are very welcome!
  5. Thanks for the kind words! It took me about a week and a half with both assembly and painting.
  6. Picked up the Rail Crew and Rail Golem at Gen Con, and been busy getting them put together, primed and painted. Playing comes next! Thanks to Secret Weapon Miniatures for the awesome bases! Comments welcome!
  7. Privateer Press has their War Room app. The app is free to download and you can buy their factions individually, by game or all at once. It updates automatically and you can use it build lists, during the game to mark off damage, or if your opponent has the War Room too, you can link the two apps. If they did something like that, I'd pay well for it.
  8. I picked up Miss Step at Gen Con and assembled her last week. The stance on her legs is a bit wider than the 50mm base she comes with, but as I'm using Secret Weapon Miniatures' Town Square #2 50mm base I was able to get her to fit with a wee bit of gentle pressure to gently bend her delicate legs. I'll post more pics as I finish the base coating and block coloring.
  9. Derp. I totally missed that on their entry/card. I now see how that makes Railwalking even nastier! Thanks!
  10. Thanks for the quick response Adran, Fenton, and Sybarite! I appreciate the help! Also, any one else with advice for running Mei Feng/Rail Crew, I'm all ears. Right now I've got the Rail Crew Box, a Rail Golem, and Miss Step (Howard Langston). My next purchase will be a box of Metal Gamin to add to the construct/burnination factor.
  11. So I picked up the 2e rulebook and the Rail Crew at Gen Con this year. I'm reading through the rules, trying to get a deeper understanding of the way Mei Feng interacts with her crew and her opponents and I've come up with the following questions: 1. Her Railwalker ability has a range of 6" and allows her to be placed into base contact with a scrap marker or a friendly construct. As I understand it, if there are neither within 6" she probably SHOULDN'T use that ability. 2. With regard to early game tactics, there probably won't be too many Scrap Markers out, so screening forward with constructs (a Rail Golem and Metal Gamin) is a good way to maximize Railwalker in later turns? 3. The Seismic Claws upgrade allows Mei Feng to throw out another Tiger Claw attack action if it triggers on a mask. Does this mean that the free attack action could trigger yet ANOTHER Tiger Claw attack action if you flip/cheat another mask? e.g. Is this pretty much a perpetual Tiger Claw generator so long as you have enough masks to trigger it? 4. What would be the benefit of taking the Express Line trigger to Railwalk again? I get the idea of Railwalking into base contact to Jackhammer Kick an enemy model 3" away, but the only reason I can conceive of is to basically give her a 18" (two 6" Railwalking + 3" threat range + a 30mm scrap or gamin base +50mm Rail Golem base) threat range by chaining her jumps. Am I missing something else? 5. Mei Feng is a dual faction Ten Thunders/Arcanist Master. If I take her as Ten Thunders, I have to infiltrate in Metal Gamin, a Rail Golem, and Miss Step/Howard Langston, but if I take her as an Arcanist, I only have to infiltrate in Kang as he's the only thing in the Rail Crew that isn't dual faction, right? Thanks in advance for any help/insight into play! I'll let everyone know how my first run with her goes!
