Some updated pictures of Lilith, still a long way to go but it is getting better. The light is really bad though, and it is washing out a lot of the colours. But I hope you can still see where I am slowly going with the model - I will be getting a permanent little photo studio soon, which should make taking proper pictures of my WIP etc a lot easier. I just cant be arsed to set up everything every time I need to take a picture >>

Thanks for the kind words A small update on my Warmachine stuff, and my first time using my airbrush to prime and pre-shade. Found out afterwards that the big spots in the white colour, came because I did not thin the Vallejo primer... even though they say you dont need to The colossus(prime axiom) was a project I started before I got an airbrush, I have just quickly laid down the starting colours, and decided where most of the light should come from- except the OSL which I will only do at the very end. So about 20-25% done I guess Oh and I have also added a link to my CoolMiniOrNot profile in the main post, where you are more then welcome to rate my figures

That is true, but my tactic is simply to have Kade hug the forest in the beginning, or until he is in danger. In this way you can use his lure, and drag him back to safety with ease

I would like to chime in on using Baby Kade if you need lure in a Lilith crew- they both have the pounce ability (or thirsty Mandrake for Lilith), so having those two sitting behind some trees from Illusionary Forest, means instant kill for anyone Baby Kade can lure through the forest

Thanks for all the encouraging words again, it truly means a lot to me Math@ thanks for taking your time to write all that, and I agree with almost everything ^^ The direction of the light was something I had in the back of my head, but after looking at it again, it is clear to see that I did not follow it strictly enough. I am not sure I agree with the freehand though, I personally think it fits quite nice, but that is just a matter of taste I guess I fully agree with the skin colors on the second picture though, and it was actually something I thought about before entering the contest. But I simply did not have time to change it at that point, think I will do something about it after I finish my two new projects. Your comments about the base is really helpful, and is something I will try to implement in my future projects- I have already started to tone down some of the highlights on the base Lilith(picture above) stands on. Will post some pictures of it soon. So yet again, thanks for the constructive criticism, it is truly what I need to move forward

Many thanks guys, your comments really warms my heart It got pretty bad after I won the Wyrd Summer contest, I started to read random comments on forums, and random blogs where the they all mentioned a certain "colorful" pig that won the contest, and how horrible it was and that it only won because of the kids that like bright colors and did not know any better. But I try not to take it that personal, I was also warned very early on that the majority of the miniature painting community would not like it. So I guess you could say that I knew what I was going in to ^^ And yes, I would love constructive criticism, that is the biggest reason why I post here

So I have just started using airbrush, and bought the new Vallejo Game Air paints, however they are sadly missing many of my NMM colours. And I am now trying to find a comparison in the Vallejo Model air paints. The colours are: 1. Charred Brown 2. Parasite Brown 3. Plague -brown 1. Shadow Grey 2. Steel Grey 3. Glacier Blue If you know any comparison with these colours, in the the Model Air line, I would be very grateful

I think Lenny is awsome! But you could try to paint some washes over the figure, to make the gradiant between the colours a bit better, so you wont see the strokes of the paint as stark (I think that is the english word for it? ^^)

Ah, so you were the one with fuhatsu, that was a really close race with you (I am the one who made gracie). And even though it was a bug that you could see the votes, it made it quite a nail-biter to follow Awsome paint job, just like everything else you have made. I am especially jealous of your base skills, which is something I simply can't do myself >>

I was just wondering which of these guys you prefer as your favorite beatstick? The most obvious being Gracies ability to tank better, and Mancha Rojas ability to deal out more damage. I have also been having a hard time seeing Gracie without Lenny in her saddle, which make her very expensive. So I just placed my order, and I got two questions: 1. I ordered for over 100$, but the Miss Ery miniature never showed in my order- is this normal? will they simply just put it in every order when they pack, and not show anything about it when you buy from them? 2. Seeing as I am a Henchman I have of course used some of my SS on this order, and I was wondering if you only pay taxes for they money that the SS did not cover, or for your entire order, including everything your SS covered?

Nono, I would most likely make either Gracie or Mancha Roja Glowy, but I simply take the upgrade it self with Sammy, so you can have both limited upgrades
