While things like McMourning just single targets stab things Or Dita single target shoots things. But if this is so great why is guild never near anything that might look like a ranking or a tournament? Why isn't every one just spamming Sonnia and papa ftw? And countering it is the same way you counter any ranged list. Engage the threat. Or if your Dita just shoot back. Arcanists have it easy with raptors but every faction has movement shenanigans. Also cover ca9 or not being on a negative flip is painful. So focus works sure but ap spent right?

I personally want a male outcast enforcer that has an ability called "dream come true: this model counts as a show girl for actions that target it" also give him "always in motion". Cause people say the showgirls are great dancers but the internet tells me men are pretty good also. Make his model a tap dancer and all will be right in the world. Or break dancing. Or doing the robot. Heck give him an action that makes him be a construct for a hot minute. Needs to be outcast cause who wants to be friends with a male dancer in a world where anything and everything is trying to kill you. Clearly some shunnage will happen But all he wants is be accepted at the star theater and dance the night away. Yeah you know you want this to happen.

I keep seeing Comments and posts how after giving papa locos Hold this to a model (generally a master) and stuffing him inside a death marshal's box is over powered (op) Why this is sound tactic. Pros One: It gives papa loco a way up field with out the chance of him exploding on your own crew. Two: you have to kill the death marshal which drops papa loco out who can then activate to do his things. (Unless the second or third ap from the enemy model knocks 9 wounds off him) Three: The model with Hold This. Has a to damage until Papa loco activates. So while he is buried that stays around. So with 2 models working as one it comes out to 13 stones. Cons One: You lose an activation while papa is buried Two: you are paying 7 stones which you generally don't use for 2-3 turns. Three: 13 stones. Four: Tara pulling papa out of his box and nuking you with him. (Master specific but it happened) So let's look at other 13 stone things (Or near enough) Ashes and dust: fast tanky hits hard and had rebirth cycle. Does pulses and in general super good at what ever you want. Also immune to condtions and can't be charged. Desolation engine: hits hard drops out 2 models when it does built in healing and does pulses. Coryphee duet (14 stones) super fast. Can't be charged gets s on almost everything and has a heal. Howard Langston 12 stones. Nimble flurry does crazy damge and can produce cover. So papa box is 13 stones for a to damage carried by a death Marshall. Who by far is easier to kill than the things above. So paying 7 stones for a +fate seems quite balanced and not op in any way. So why is it perceived that this is a wombo combo that knows no equal? Well three of the guild masters don't care about papa loco and his . Lucious,McCabe,Hoffman. But the other 4 benefit from it.

Short answer? Killing things. Many ways to do it. But trying to compare Colette's extraordinary movement and scheme marker placement to guild is like comparing a cheetah to a sloth on an open field. That scheme pool is Colette's perfect storm. She gains 3 vp immediately then hold markers while tying you up. But McMourning can do things like kill all of her stuff and smile maniacally while doing it. Also a neat trick is give a model some nurse drugs of quick walking then a death Marshall is a decent choice. Then using induction on it to propell it into the crew and claim plant explosives yourself. Cost you a minion to be sure but 3 vp is 3vp

I would to to point out that "acting" model is the model taking the action. I quoted like 4 different pages where it is at. The upkeep step has not ended so that burning is going to be resolved. How well I postulate that it would go back to first player. But no clear answer. But what is clear is that it will resolve before that step is ended. Also my 2 cents on the "if killed" is this: if killed = after killed. Reasoning. Most things that summon from killing say "after killing summon model x before removing ...." for instance the trigger on moonlighting witching handler. Datsu ba. Course those are are triggers and road kill is an a ability. But just wanted to let you know my reasoning.

You missed a vital defence from Sonnia. Counter spell aura. Why in cherufes name she did not have it will boggle greater minds than mine. One makes her immune to lure. Two Levi loses the tome he needs to cast his spell so now he needs to burn a stone or cheat just so it goes off. 3 since both at tied at 7 (ca vs wp) having that plus flip is nice but cover mitigates that. But ashes yeah he can kill her just fine lol.

The move has to be as close as possible. So there are no intervening objects (models terrain etc) then it would be a strait line to her. If you notice her lure action is also a 6 . Future proofing and helping players remember.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Ama No Zako. I find she is a great denial and scheme runner. Mainly because who wants to go near a model that does 3/5/7 and heals. Or eats you or obeys you. Or makes you take hazardous. And has walk 6 flight. Highly mobile highly deadly. Also threat range of 9 for charging. Thoughts?

Lilitu is the most reliable since she just needs herself and a way to charge. Dampenig field is an upgrade which I have never seen put on table Legalese on lucious is almost a must take but he has a lot better things to do than charge models. But some people don't take it. Hoffman with his mechanical attendant needs to be within 3" of rusty but can not charge her Waldgeists need to charge into terrain that is positioned perfectly. Edited this line: Ten thunders brothers need a specific suit which is not always there. So 5 things can actually charge rusty. Short answer No. The action you used scout the terrain for was stand and shoot. (3) Stand and Shoot: Make a Clockwork Seeker Attack Action against every enemy model in range and LoS. This Action may not be taken while engaged in melee. These Attack Actions may not declare Triggers So this action is generating more Actions. But now of those actions did you discard scout the terrsin. And I would say do to the wording of stand and shoot. You would gain no benefit if you did since the targets have to be in los according to stand an shoot.
