  1. I simply cut it off before even beginning working on removing the mould lines - saw no point in leaving the chain as it's way too weak to stay unbroken for long. The jeweler's chain is a good solution, you can put some super glue on it and turn it into any shape you want for good.
  2. The brick wall in the back is a nice touch. I also like the sickly look of the skin.Very nice job overall. I got my Dead Justice set today and man, isn't Lady J a bit too small? The original one towers the rest of the crew so I thought that this one might have been scaled down a little . Well, hopefully the alternative sculpt is
  3. I'll definitely put some pics in my thread once I start working on them. However, right now I'm just waiting for the minis to be shipped
  4. Great work on Sonnia, really like the cloak and pants. The skin looks ace too. The alternative DM is very nice too.
  5. Personally I'm not a big fan of big contrasts on minis but yours do look very nice, especially the Dreamer and Daydreams are cool
  6. Very nice work all around, I particularly like Francisco and Santiago. Great color scheme, souts these models perfectly.
  7. I really like the dark, dirty look on this one. The contrast created by brighter metallics is a nice touch too. BTW - last week I bought the Dead Justice set on ebay and I'm really looking forward to working on these minis. The models you painted show that there's really great potential there
  8. Great work on these, Death Marshals look particularly nice. I'll be following this thread with keen interest
  9. Thanks for all the comments, much appreciated. I'm currently working on Justice but it will take me a while as I don't have much free time now
  10. Great job on these, I really like the final effect !
  11. Great stuff all around, keep up the great work!
  12. I like the bright color scheme, nice change after seeing dozens of'em painted in dark colors (I painted mine in dark colors too )
  13. Overall a very decent paintjob though some of the blood spots seem a bit too regular.
  14. Absolutely amazing work, I love the idea. The work on conversion alone is superb and the painting is top notch too.
  15. Since it's my first post on the Wyrd Games forums I'd like to start by saying hi to everyone. I've seen lots of great works here so I thought I might show some of my models as well and hopefully get some comments. I first heard about Malifaux a few months ago and I immediately became interested in the game. Amazing atmosphere, great models - who needs more? Choosing a crew to paint was a tough decision but in the end I decided to start with The Guild and Lady Justice and Death Marshals crew. I absolutely love the DM models, very dynamic and full of character so I simply had to start with them. Anyway, here's my take on these awesome minis (click on the pic to see more pics): Comments are appreciated
