If the comparison with gw is the one you want to make (and lord knows i don't like them) i should point out that for as far as i know for all the complaints about them people seem to agree that their customer service is great and that they make no problem of swapping out those damaged models.

and for use in malifaux as was stated in earlier updates. Also, why do people feel fine with having a low standard for rpg models? i don't see why these shouldn't be in scale compared to the other models they released for the rpg.

Swiglitz, there are two kits, the males and the females. There are 2 issues: Firstly the males are all in scale with the malifaux models (good) but the females are a lot taller, all of them. Then, in addition the female models are proportioned poorly, almost all the extra length is in the legs making them look weird (if you look at ratty's picture you'll see that the crotch area (sorry dont know a correct word here) is at elbow height of the male models. The torso and head of the female models are proportioned normally making it look very weird, like caricatures of fashion models with far to long legs.

@ ratty: not much of a difference? al of the females are taller then the males, and that includes the height the men gain from their tophat! Not to mention that their crotch area seems to be at male's elbow height.

That's assuming they are going to sel the offscale ones, my guess is (as they weren't available at gencon) they are having the sprues adjusted for the correct size and those will go on sale normally. Just a hunch though.

Well that blows. Don't get me wrong i'm happy they are communicating but saying the models dont need to be in scale because they are for ttb and not for malifaux is a weak excuse. Off to ebay it goes, heavily dissapointed.

I have to agree with Raven here, it seems hard to believe that they didn't notice the difference in scale (especially as they are not offering them at gencon) so a post letting us know about it around the time they were shipping would have been the right thing to do i feel. I hope they fix it (and with the models not beeing on sale i do think they are having them remade so i'll cross my fingers that wyrd will pull through and make sure we get the properly sized models).

On my box it said to bill the sender, wyrd in this case, is it not the same with your package?

They promised 2 of the decks to game room and living room pledgers so that is what they should get, not 1 + a deck that goes on normal sale. Also, it was said that the decks would contain a card that would function as a cheat sheet for creation, i have no such card in my deck. The deck does not seem to live up to what it was made out to be.

Anyone else not have the cheat sheet that was said to be in the through the breach deck for character creation? I thought it was said that the cards would have some info on them instead of just being a deck (though a pretty one at that, at least the 11+ cards)

Mine arrived in the Netherlands, got the red chapel box in it.

I must admit that (and this is a matter of personal taste) i dont like the elongated legs at all. It gives the models a weird look that puts them right into the 'uncanny valley' for my feeling. Unfortunatly i'm not at all skilled in cutting up models and using bits of greenstuf to fix it so if it bothers me in the actual models as much as it does in the pictures they may end up for trade, pitty that it is as i was really looking forward to the models. From what i understand though the male models don't have this problem so at least i'll be able to make some nice models from those for our group.

There was a picture releaseds a while ago showing a bunch of hannas that were painted for one of the pledge tiers so if those were cast it would seem reasonable to assume that the whole batch had been produced in one run. Edit: found the picture I was referring to.

My Jones box arrived today and had the Johanna model. Might be interesting to know that the Johana model is part of the sprue the rest of the models (with the exception of the two skeeters) are on and isn't a separate addition to the box.

Yeah those are really really nice. I've been tempted to buy them more then once but to fill a table with them costs a small fortune. Last time i resisted was because on checkout it added vat and price jumped up even more O.o iirc the townhouse and forge together we're over €150 including shipping.

Nah, the pinups are a line he has been doing for quite a while, the wetnurse pinup also has no resemblance what so ever to its monster form you can see here (not safe for work). There are deliberatly no pinup models in the game as it wouldn't fit with the dark, hard to survive theme of the game. (though that's not to say that some models don't show a lot of skin, especially the starting survivers).

My wallet is still in therapy after that kickstarter The nurse isn't part of the kingdom death: monster game, it's one of the pinup line models, but they don't come with rules for the game. It's a nice model though and would make a good proxy i think.

And session 7 is here. Session 8 will be this thursday. For the next write downs i wil try to organize it on a day by day bases instead of per character.

Yeah unfortunatly the time difference is longer then i figured (silly me) so i'll bow out. You guys have good fun with it though

I'm in europe, just realized that might be a problem heh. Weekends are usually a no go as that's where i have my own group most of the time other days should be possible to plan something.
