  1. I would really love to play a Native American crew/faction. I was super into cowboys & indians when I was a kid and the ortegas are what drew me to this game.
  2. You do realize that this is set in an Alt-Victorian Era, and all of these stereotypes are part of that era?
  3. The question is, where does he fit those tentacles under the mask?
  4. I thought that because Masters Already get 3 AP that fast would not benefit them?
  5. How many guys do you have playing weekly over at FB?
  6. One of my regular opponents takes Johan with Ramos almost every time, I usually kill him before he can do anything useful, he's just so much more squishy than other models.
  7. A CALL TO ARMS! The guild has shown us who is most important to them. It is time for us to join together and help the Miners and Steamfitters Union against the guild. Brothers and sisters, don't let the guild keep us under their boot any longer. Join us by taking a training course Wednesday night @6:30 pm at: Endzone Hobbies 133 S State Clearfield, Ut 801-774-5050
  8. One of the funniest moments for me with LJ was after I got her Dead Justice set painted up and on the table. DJ's model was a much less imposing figure on the table than the original and it effected my first few opponents also, they would forget which model was LJ and totally position themselves incorrectly. It was one these moments that got me a really great win against Pandora. He had just used Pandy to go through all of my DM's and put her on what he thought was the safe side of a forest, forgetting LJ on the opposite side. I then activated LJ and charged her through the small forest to gut Pandy like a fish, it was great.
  9. I rarely used it after I got used to the Ortega's, it let my opponent out activate me, but it was nice to have as a threat. That said, I think their just as strong, maybe stronger with the new ruling.
  10. I've been slowly working my way through the M2E book and noticed for the first time the changes to chain activations. I was thoroughly disappointed to see that activations are limited to 2 models activating in sequence now preventing a heavy alpha strike. But, mostly, I'm interested to hear what everyone experience with this has been.
  11. I have to agree with most comments, LJ is quite sterile, not really shining, but not bad either. She can go into almost any situation. I've played her about half a dozen times in M2E and find that she just doesn't have the threat she used to. In fact, now that judge is a henchman, I find his role in a game is much stronger. I do really love the DM's change on their Pine Boxes though, they have been real game changers. I used them to bury a Whiskey Golem one game and just neutered the brewmaster's ability to do damage. Granted, we're still figuring things out too, but the Ortegas are so much more fun.
  12. I have to agree with Fenton Crack, the masters the biggest reasons most people get into the game. Leaving them out of demos might be a deterrent.
  13. I Just noticed on the Henchman list that 2 henchmen under Utah are from cities that are not in Utah. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

  14. I found a killer use for "Enfrentate a Mi!" It doesn't require friendly models to be engaged by an enemy model, allowing Francisco to be placed in base with any enemy model within 7 inches, great tool for getting him in position and out of dangerous or unwanted engagements, possible combo with Nino shooting at the target he's in melee with if you have Diestro on him.
  15. Game night will be this Friday the 13th at the church located at 4524 South 2525 West in Roy. Park on the south side of the building and I will have the Southeast door unlocked. I will be available at 8pm for Malifaux 2E Demos
  16. Simple Green works really good for plastics. Just submerge them and let them sit for 24 hours, then us an old toothbrush to scrub them, maybe an xacto to scrape the really detailed areas.
  17. I see what you mean, where the confusion is and that it isn't written the best if could be, but it doesn't change what is meant by it.
  18. I'm pretty sure that is superseded by "If multiple blasts are generated." Therefore allowing you to make a chain with your blasts, or possibly splitting them.
  19. I am a little disappointed as well that some of my favorite models, Niño and Judge got more of a generic look, especially in the head area.
  20. Thanks for the help guys, I'm a henchmen and we've have been scratching my head trying to help a frustrated player who has put 3-8 poison counters on most of my Guild Models, using them to paralyze LJ once, yet still get sliced to pieces. Plus, I pineboxed his Whiskey Golem with my Death Marshall before get the poison rebuffs. We're still figuring him out.
  21. So if your running a strategy or schemes that require no markers, don't take him? What would your ideal Brewmaster List be? It appeared to us that while there is great potential for the Brewmaster, his crew still needs to be fleshed out.
  22. My friend an I have played 2 games with the Brewmaster vs. Guild(Lady J & Perdita). What makes Fingers stand out? We really felt like he was a waste of 10 stones?
  23. Last week I had off work and got in 3 great games of M2E. I recently got my Guild Phase 1 Arsenal Cards and want to try them out. They did not disappoint. First Night- 50 ss game Lady Justice(Rsteelrose) vs. Proxied Brewmaster Lady Justice, Judge and a trio of Death Marshalls were accompanying an Austringer on his nightly patrol of the Bayou due to recent gremlin mischief. Reports had been coming of poisonings at local Guild backed saloons where gremlin sightings have been the only clue. Could this be an attack by the rumored gremlin Brewmaster. LJ and company were attacked in the most interesting way. Sprayed by horribly fowl tasting moonshine. After taking a few moments to recover LJ dispatched the gremlins only to uncover that the ringleader was nothing but a fake, a simple gremlin posing as the Brewmaster. Second Night- 50 ss Game Perdita(Rsteelrose) vs. Proxied Bremaster Upon hearing of the gremlin attacks, the Guild has assigned the Ortegas with stopping this strange occurrence. Accompanied by the same Austringer, Perdita and kin sprang into action catching another copycat gremlin psudo-Brewmaster as his crew of poisoning conspirators tried to spike a load of hooch the Ortega's has placed for just such a purpose. They made short work of the gremlin scum as if they were nothing more than insects. Are these attacks a forerunner for the actual Brewmaster or are they simply the working of the crazed inhabitants of the bayous? Third Night- 50 ss Game Perdita(Rsteelrose) vs. Ramos(Flightmek played with last Beta Version Stat Cards) While trying to find the source of the recent gremlin infestation, Perdita and her Kin came upon an outlaw band of Arcanists led by someone posing as Ramos. The Ortega clan leapt quickly into action taking advantage of the slowing mud and bayou filth that slowed the actions of this strange criminal group. After their gun line made quick work of their mechanical monstrosities and Perdita finishing off the Ramos impostor they discovered the crew's intent. Three crates of the dreadful moonshine that the gremlin poisoners had been adding to the local Guild sponsored gambling halls. Who is behind this infernal plan to injure the gracious Guild's establishments?
