  1. Little update here, two guild hounds, which were meant to go with Luna, but apparently that little dog went for a walk without me, so here they are alone with the best pic i could manage And now a Ramos Update: Pod Casts are AWESOME!!!!!
  2. Hehe, for small periods, but Nico & Mcm work for them don't they, rather than having been hired for a job like a mercenary ? ---------- Post added at 05:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:27 PM ---------- Haven't read the stories in a long time but this is correct as far as i can remember?
  3. A friend of mine has had 24 or 26 body part counters on McM in a game, after what he spent. Corps counters depend on how many models you use, and same for your opponent, and how good at killing and getting your stuff killed you are:)
  4. I thought that Lucius being Guild/Neverborn was a joke on the podcast i listened to, now im even more excited about this knowing that current masters are becoming dual faction as well. As for Mcm becoming dual faction, it makes sense fluff wise for both him and Nico, as they are both employed by the guild if i am not mistaken, and perhaps certain ability's will not be chosen as upgrades when taking things like death marshals with him, allows you to play to the fluff better, having your master deceiving his ally's, then in the next game, take different upgrades and use his summoning skills, and less death marshal style models.
  5. I cant say much that does not seem obvious really. I like the fact that you are no longer going to get so many spells flying at a minion where you just go i can do nothing to stop you do what is the point? But at the same time, it was nice to have your master or any SS user in the middle of a group of minions, and you have the face cards in your hand to defend on and stones to boost further if needed to make sure you survive, now they are a little less effective, but probably more reliable, sort of. I think i made sense there right?
  6. So disappointed i missed that, spent ages waiting for it to pop up, saw the post and had no idea what it meant and ignored it until today when it closed:(
  7. The cards are being released in faction packs, with dual faction models being released in both factions boxes Very happy when i learnt that:)
  8. New gremlin stuff <3 Nothing more to say! or well i could, but it is just useless after the gremlins, and i dont even play them yet:P
  9. Have to say i am disappointed at the change to the cards, as they are i think they are fantastic, so easy to read, and have pictures so you know what model matches what card. If they make them the same as warmachine & horsed stat cards (standard card size?) They get to small, or it means they are going to dumb down the rules a lot, or give people less ability's, so i have to say that part has me a little worried. But otherwise this is fantastic, i will just be waiting for the 31st to take a look at the current versions of the changes
  10. +1 to Cunning Stunt, if it uses the word Target(s) you need Line of Sight to it/them.
  11. Vodoo Doll is pretty much essential for Zoraida, and if your taking them together, primordial magic can be nice for the extra card, but not essential. Then just any models you like the look or sound of. With Z im a big fan of Nephilim, never sure why it just seems to work. With Collodi, Effigys, brutal is my favorite, arcane gets talked about a lot but never to sure if people rate it much. Again with Collodi, Stitched Together's are great although a little bit slow, and when close to collodi, they are even better due to their extra WP. Zoraida: Avatar Vodoo Doll (summoned) Collodi, 8 Arcane effigy 2 4 Martionettes 8 2 Stitched together Above is a 30SS list with 5 SS For 35SS add an effigy or a wicked doll and have 6 or 7 SS You have the Marionettes for fast objective grabbers, or killing stuff by death by a thousand cuts, and then you have the stitched for Nuking a model down alone. As is always said in these style of threads though, you build your list once you know what your doing, a general list rarely works for everything:)
  12. I would simply say, get all three book one starter sets, and see what else you need? Avatar is good, everyone seems to say so. Brutal effigy i love, one my my favorite guild models. Watchers have their uses, great for objectives, good for card cycling.
  13. I have not played with or against him much, but from the few occasions i have played him, he tends to be used as an objective grabber, or as bait for your opponent to (hopefully) over commit to attacking him whilst the rest of your crew completes objectives. For Synergy, a few beasts is good, but generally they are just objective grabbers generally. Night terrors, for 3SS are very tough to put down as well, that combined with how fast a flock of them is (3 - 4 together) is why so many people seem to love them:)
  14. I have to admit i tend to just throw LCB in and then just see what happens. if i have one free to do so, i will aim to get a daydream near him just in case i want to move him, or save him. And i don't think i have used the trigger to bury him more than twice in all my games with him.
  15. Never thought of her yet, i rarely look out of faction, and with her Avatar i tend to like he keeping her SS But i have frequently read she is a good choice with her:) However she stops me taking the effigy's as well, and recently (perhaps to much guild play) i am becoming a fan of the Brutal a lot:)
  16. For me i think i would have to go with Von Schill, As he just puts my mind in such a downer for the game before it even starts when i can see him, i mean he is a great way to drain SS from your opponent, but i personally find him very tiresome to play against
  17. Probably a good plan actually, anyone who gets to here shouldn't have problems to find the Wyrd store:)
  18. I think i have everything done now, if you notice any mistakes or typos please let me know and i can edit anything, Sam's cost is now corrected ---------- Post added at 07:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:33 PM ---------- Ok, updated with totems. but not putting any recommendations in there, as that makes the post have to many words, as it has enough it seems as it is:P @Dracomax Sorry i didnt get back to you, i was meaning to do each faction in an individual post, but i forgot that it just puts a silver line to separate them if you post after yourself to soon, so i didnt see your post until i was done:) However as said i appreciate any advice on what to do to add to it, or to change anything. ---------- Post added at 07:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:54 PM ---------- Only thing left to add that i can think of is costs, but i was unsure if we are allowed to do that on here? Namely the Wyrd Webstores price and a UK Price from somewhere. If this is allowed?

  20. Reading this i have got the impression that the general consensus is to give Jacob a low number of SS, do people agree on this, as when my friend started using him, he tried that and said he needed lots with him, so i am just curious what is recommended, especially as im fairly clueless about the crew but have to teach someone to use it tomorrow.
  21. Indeed, Levi is one of those masters who will get upgrades but never injuries as not a lot can hurt him in turn one and most players will protect him from such a thing:)
  22. Daydreams are essential for him. Stitched together are generally great models, but slow, this is where the dreamer/daydreams come in and drop them off where ever you want them:) Twins always work, and can be bounced around with support from daydreams/dreamer again. Though as far as i know, they always want to be on the table at the end of the turn else they get hurt. As for Collodi, he works fairly interdependently, and does what he does well, runs around and uses his marionettes to hit stuff lots of times for little damage (potentially 5 attacks per model, all paired) And Collodi himself buffs the Stitched togethers WP, which is amazing for them, if they are close enough to him. And the Dreamer and again his daydreams can help them to keep pace. I have to say, after the dreamer/LCb and Daydreams, i am not actually sure what models in his selection make him competitive, he just seems to work and be very hard work to beat, once you have learnt how to play him. Where to put stuff, what to kill, what to ignore, what to take out of action. (Lilitu + Lure or Coppelius + Slumber trigger i think its called?) in the thread below, there is my thoughts on most if not all the nightmares and their uses, slightly influenced by how i play so, other people will rate other models much higher than me:) http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?40237-Starting-Dreamer ---------- Post added at 12:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:35 AM ---------- As for tips and tricks, i just go for staying as much out of sight as i possibly can. generally deploy only the Dreamer and Daydreams, and go high up on buildings, out of sight as everything has/can get flight or float, and appear where you want, and when. I have a tendency to run down the middle and then when i attack i jump to one side a little and attack with everything from the one place. Move 7" then summon (with trigger if needed) everything within 6" meaning stuff can appear anywhere within 13" of where he is at the start of his activation, then sac a daydream somewhere else to attack with Chompy when they aren't expecting it.
  23. Haha, i shall send the money when you get around to invoicing us:)
  24. I have to say, tots seem like a fantastic idea vs gremlins, due to they can not be shot over the ht1 walls that often litter my boards great to hide and then sprint them into combat, even if they don't get to attack that turn. They still can not take advantage of Aim High, until you eat a gremlin or 6 and start growing:) Lilith - 7ss 10 terror tots Primordial magic Highly impractical list to buy, but the thought of that list vs a gremlin gunline amuses me, especially when the only model they can shoot over a wall can just summon a fresh forest every turn to hide behind:P So easy to hide:)
  25. It only lasts long enough to see who you hit with the marker, and give them brilliance
