~Hi In the Uk there is so many adverts to choose from that really annoy me. Endgame in Oakland is an amazing store. I stayed with friends in Fremont back in 2008 and managed to squeeze in a trip to Endgame (much to my wifes disgust). I had a great time and the staff are uber helpful. I would suggest contacting them, I'm sure they could help you arrange something. When my Malifaux bag arrives soon, I will finally have somewhere to sew on the Endgame patch I have (well i'll get the wife to sew it on)

Love the Viktorias bases. Can't wait to see them all painted up. Keep up the good work mate

~Hi Thanks for the comments. I have thinned the paints but maybe not enough. He also looks less thick in real life, maybe I need to practice my mini photo taking skills as well. Didnt get much chance to do anything today but did start on one of my Viktorias. Its a really early WIP shot but I thought I'd post it anyway

Agreed Deadwood is an amazing show. Have all 3 seasons on DVD, as I'm off work with man flu I might watch an episode or two tomorrow. Watched the original True Grit today having seen the new version at the weekend, really enjoyed both versions

Almost done. Just got to tidy up the trousers and then try and track some testors dullcoat so I can varnish it. On a side note I've just found out my Battlefoam MAlifaux bag should be here in a week. Yippeeeee.. Any comments or suggestions to improve my painting would be gratefully received

~Hi I've just started playing in the UK and I bought the Lady J crew. Its amazing value for money and seems to be quite straight forward. I'm waiting on graveyard bases arriving for them so I've only had one game using a friends Lady J crew. I've bought the Viktorias and started playing and painting them. Will move onto the Lady J crew later. I'm also becoming addicted really quickly, having played GW games all my life (I'm 36) Malifaux has reinvigorated me hobby and gaming wise and I hope to be playing for many years to come. Now if only I could persuade more guys to get involved (there's only 3 of us at the moment)

~Hi Just had to let you all know I saw True Grit at the weekend. Amazing film. Gave me lots of ideas for Malifaux based scenery. Its a really good story with top notch acting.

~Hi Wife's away for the night so it was a choice of painting or going to the local Gentlemans club (yeh right) I've managed to get started on my convict gunslinger. Its still very much a wip but its the first time Ive picked up a brush in a considerable time and I'm quite pleased with him so far..

Think Ive finished the skin and it looks not too bad. Still very much WIP but I should hopefully get a little time to do some more tomorrow

~Hi Welcome aboard the Malifaux bandwagon. The rules are pretty easy to pick up (I'm quite new myself) and the models are amazing. The lady J crew is a good one to start with, I'm playing Viktorias at the moment as I'm waiting for my graveyard bases to arrive. Watch out though you'll be addicted in no time and don't forget if there's anything you're unsure of just ask coz we're a real friendly bunch around here

~Hi Folks The wifes away for a couple of days and I'm looking forward to getting my paints out and starting to paint my Convict Gunslinger. I'm not very good at painting flesh and was hoping someone could give me some hints ant tipe. I'll be using GW paints and Ive already sprayed the model white and given it a badab black wash to create the deepest shades. Any hints and tips you guys could offer would be great Thanks in advance
