~Hi Sorry no painting update today, now the Laryngitis has gone I'm back at work so don't have much time for painting. I was in Glasgow shopping today with the wife (usually a boring and scary event) but wondered upon Static games quite by accident (yeh right) They had a great selection of crew sets but no Colette crew, so I thought I'd just leave, but for some reason the Pandora crew seemed to be calling me - 22 quid later and I am now the proud owner of the Pandora crew Not sure If I'll start building and painting this straight away or If I'll finish all my Viktorias first aaahhh decisions decisions

Loved the story, well thought out. Id love to hear more of Teddy and pals adventures

Well my Battlefoam bag arrived yesterday and I was able to use it to transport my Viktorias to/from my FLGS last night. I'm really impressed with it, not only does it look extremely cool but its really functional too. Great product that I would thoroughly recommend. (now if only there was a place in it to store bags of skittles, M&M's and a bottle of coke it would be perfect)

Like the cobblestones mate, they're very good. As others have said the only way to improve on painting is to keep at it. Ive been painting minis for over 20 years and Im still learning. Some of my very first minis were horrendous, Im quite chuffed at how they turn out now. Mine will never win any awards but as I think, as long as you had fun painting them then does it really matter.................

Really like your Ortegas they are looking real good. I think they may be my next crew (although Pandora and Colette are calling too, I quite fancy a Neverborn crew)

@Neverending. I forgot to ask, where do you buy your Malifaux, I'm coming to DC in September and might be looking to pick up some bits and pieces

I've always used Games Workshop's sand but recently I have found Gale Force 9's fine gravel is a much better product

#Hi Folks Movies I've seen recently with amazing endings. Black Swan - Very powerful and moving True Grit (Its interesting how the ending of the new film changes from the ending of the original. A- Team. Why I hear you cry. Well if you wait for the full credits to role you'll see the original face and Mad Murdoch from the TV series. As I grew up with the A-Team I loved this

Great work so far. The gold is a little strong for my liking. I'd give it a wash in Devlan Mud and then a highlight of a 50/50 mix of Burnished Gold and Mithril Silver. I like what you've done so far though

Thanks Hayzel. I'd love to do a Pandora box set or a Dreamer box set and Teddy is an amazing model that I'd love to do in a Panda styled paint job but I did see a blue/white paint scheme on youtube that's got me thinking so I'm sure I'll get to some Neverborn soon. I'm going to finish the Viktoria's first and I also have a Lady J crew (I'm currently waiting on 30mm graveyard bases to arrive). Once I get 2 crews painted I might even try to join the Henchman scheme. I'm trying to reinvigorate interest in Malifaux at my FLGS but not having much luck at the moment as there is only 3 of us playing, it seems like Warmachine and Hordes is the latest, greatest, newest thing to hit our FLGS Have you been painting any of your crews?

Hi Hayzel He has perfected the puppy dog look to maximum effect and uses to get anything he wants, treats, toys and the TV switched on (yes he is addicted to watching TV, especially cartoons and nature programmes)

Thanks for the nice comments folks, Malifaux really has inspired me to start painting again and I'm really enjoying it. Just a small update today, Viktoria is nearly finished, just a few areas left to finish and she'll be ready for the table. It will be great to have a couple of models painted for my game on Friday night. I'm playing our local henchman so lets hope I flip better with painted models than I seem to do with unpainted ones. Anyway here's a pic of Viktoria so far and a pic of my work to date. Once Viktoria is finished I think I'll start on a Ronin. Enjoy.....................

Hahahahaha I love the panda advert. The Panda has the same puppy dog look as my dog when he wants something. I'll let you see what I mean. This is Brandy desperate to play with his toy
