I'm not doing it for the contest. The game store owner wants me to demo it and painted mini's always attract more interest.

I got mine today and am working to get the initial box minis painted so I can demo it.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one to proxy a Lazarus for their Freikorps. I'm a long time Battletech player so I modified a spare mech. Can't wait for the real thing to come out though.

I bought a plastic place mat at Bed Bath and beyond and used that. It was cheap and I have way more than I'll ever need.

The only flaw I see is that you can't swap out the Toolkit and Guardian for Brass Arachnid and Rusty Alyce as the Toolkit and Guardian cost 10 points while the Brass Arachnid and Rusty Alyce would cost 12 due to Difficult Child on Alice.

The Thomas Crown Affair was a good remake but most of the ones that I've seen suck bog water. That includes the movie "remakes" of '70's TV shows.

The national weather service had said that the worst of it would be about 5 PM. The rain stopped about 4 PM and it's been just wind since. I have heard reports of power outages, but only 1 flicker here that didn't take down my computer.
