  1. Purifying fire specifically says you do not suffer damage, and covered in gas says when you suffer damage from burning. So if you do not suffer damage from burning you can't trigger an ability that activates when you suffer damage from burning.
  2. I would say that its any cards flipped not cheated because they are not the same and can't be used the same unless it says final duel total. An example of this being red jokers flipped prevent your opponent from cheating, but red jokers cheated do not. So you shouldn't claim cheated cards become the flipped cards they instead replace the flipped cards for final totals.
  3. Ignoring range in this case should be the range listed in the ability, which charge doesn't have a range so it doesn't really apply here. So you would igonre your checks of range and los, but if you can't get in close enough to hit the charge would fail and not be allowed. At least that's how I understand it.
  4. Thanks, these are great. And I doubt you will have any issues as the warhamsters gaming group sold 1.5 strategy and scheme decks and Ratty made 1.5 cards available similar to what you've done.
  5. Ok, I didn't have the rules with me so I just based it off of Barnaberible's quotes.
  6. I would just like to add that what I assumed the reason for the current wording of the rule is so if you have one enemy engaged with multiple friendlies whether you target a friendly or enemy you get the same set of targets instead of being able to target one friendly model and ignore the rest of them because you can't be engaged with friendly models.
  7. I would agree that they end at the end of the turn. Nothing says they don't.
  8. When we play team games it's each player picks their own crew, gets their own fate deck and soulstone pool, and can only affect their own models, but teammates are considered friendly. Also at the start of each turn we have the highest initiative goes first, highest on the other team goes second, teammate of person who went first goes third, other person goes last. It has worked pretty well so far.
  9. I ran an 11 model crew in a 25 ss league and planned to use a 3 model crew in a 25 ss tournament game. So I have no real rules I try to follow when it comes to how many models I should take.
  10. Well the faq references that it doesn't pass on effects as per p.45 of the rules manual. So it seems it is just a reference to that, which wouldn't be in contrast to the rules marshal decision that the weapons traits (poison, burning, armor piercing, etc) still work with blasts.
  11. Misread the skill. I guess disengaging strikes are the only use for the defense part I can think of.
  12. I tried Molly with Leveticus and Izamu and she basically sat around making both of them move faster. Leve with move 6 and Izamu with move 7 are really fun.
  13. Last game Izamu was the second model killed. RJ on damage by Viks. Last time before that he killed the dead rider in 1 activation with a charge and melee expert.
  14. Disturbing whispers from multiple sources would not stack.
  15. I think you need to have some ability that restricts how many wounds it can take from an attack because Leveticus could potentially kill that in 1 activation using unnatural wasting twice followed by a strike if he is lucky, or kill it in a couple of turns with average luck. Especially with the low defence and no cheating it would be really easy to hit with the spell.
