what stratedgies should i stay away form if i can, what schemes should i look at closer than others?

well i've changed my list taking out datsuba and trading her in for 2 gaki and another seishin and it seems to be working pretty well

i agree kirai is what got me into the game but i picked up pandora first, moved to dreamer and now am on kirai and under 2 months, i've been miniature gaming for 10+ years now though so it's not hard since i've played 2nd-5th 40k, warmachine, and everything inbetween pretty much at some point. You got to pick up the shikome, other than ikiryo the shikome is just mmm, mmm good for the lost love i am using "The Colonel" model from anima tactics the flame isn't attached to the model except for a very little bit in his hand which i am gonna paint up to look like magic coming out of his hand. as for kirai, after you get the box set i recommend you get 1 shikome 2 blisters of seishin (2 to a blister) 2 blisters of Gaki ( come in blisters of 2) and a blister of onryo after that you can look at other spirits, jack daws a pretty popular one but doesn't take my fancy, so are the hanged.

so quit making me make play mistakes with my new army when i play them lol, no it is a fairly decent list overall i think there was nothing really out of place other than the gunslinger which i think another ronin or maybe johan would be a nice filler for. I want a rematch good sir

ok so now that i've gotten some responses do you think not allowing them at a tournament too unreasonable especially when the entry fee is 5 dollars?

i am curious on what people's feelings are on this deck. I for one dislike playing against them as it's hard for someone to read the cards from across the table, especially the suit, yes i love the idea of plastic cards and cool artwork but I believe they really hamper the game, so I ask you all how you feel on the matter?

this is my dreamer list for the tournament we got coming up. it's one master bring 70ss worth of models can play 30ss each match, objective based i am only posting a 30ss list because there is going to be an iron man prize for someone who does the best using the same list through all 3 rounds and i am going for it. my list is as follows The dreamer+ LCB 5ss from nightmares+1 from being 1ss under 2x day dreams 2x alps 2x stitched togethers 1x teddy I've actually had quite a bit of luck with this list as it has alot of variety i bring the alps for cheap activations and more non insignificant models for objectives along with allowing the dreamer protection from ranged attacks basically how i play the list is 2 day dreams and dreamer start on the baord and fly forward turn 1, turn 2 maybe a nightmare or 2 come out but usually not lcb and turn 3 i usually drop everything but I try to out activate my opponent to where lcb and teddy go with only my opponent only having 1 or 2 models left to activate, those bing the highest priority targets and always trying to make sure i can turn lcb back into the dreamer. what do you guys think?

that's no joke i was playing against mcmourning at 30ss my list: Pandora 2x sorrow kade teddy hooded rider he had killed hooded rider and teddy before i even killed one model ( first time playing vs those dang punk zombies) and pandora pretty much made mcmourning cut himself to death and went one to winning all by herself lol, he's was pretty dumb founded and he did get a turn where he had nothing higher than an 8 in his hand. now that i've gotten LCB down people are having a hard time beating me hehe definitely fits more me.

doesn't daydreams say friendly nightmares? i thought during obey they are considered enemy hence not being able to bury nightmares?

he's a bit darker than what the lighting let's you see but what do you guys think?

Hey i got to admit i first wanted kiari as my first master but when i learned she was so model intensive and didn't want to drop around a hundred dollars just to feel out the game i went neverborn and i haven't looked back Never Born is definately For the win. I personally love the hooded rider and i know he doesn't get much love and he does seem like a really bland model as far as what he does, and I agree to a point but he also adds a lot of flexibility to any list. tha's just my 02 cents

I know I've asked a few questions without given a formal introduction so i'd like to introduce myself to you guys and hopefully become an active participant on the forums. First off my name is Jason. I am 24 and live in Wichita, Ks and i am fortunate enough to go to the same gaming store as one of the testers of this game which surprises me that I've only now gotten into it. I was a big GW supporter for the past oh 10-12 years(had played in 2nd edition) then just transition to warmachine mk II in June and sold all my gw product. About 3 weeks ago i got into this game. Our local gaming store had sold to a bigger gaming store based out of Oklahoma and it is a much welcomed transition. our other store had little product and was order only really. this new owner brought in alot of product some being this wonderful game called Malifaux. Since i've started playing it I enjoy it quite a bit more than other games and a surprising thing is I love the models and it has inspired me to start painting again and to become a better painter. before I had hated painting and dreaded it; viewed it more of a chore, these mini's I can't stop they are just so magnificently sculpted. Right now i own Pandora The Dreamer and Lord Chompy Bits ( please tell me they are gonna rerelease the LE one at gencon again i'd be so happy lol :-) 3 alps 3 day dreams 2 stitched together 3 sorrows baby kade baby candy teddy hooded rider So yea, hopefully I can get to know you guys and maybe do some traveling and play with a few of you.
