So I really like the idea of Scheme marker manipulation, I also really like things like the Beckoners and dopplegangers I also have an odd idea of relying more on manipulating the opponent without as much face smash to get the job done, difficult, probably but it will be amazing if and when it works. So I am curious what people think would be good to make a scheme marker and enemy manipulation themed Lucius crew? I was thinking beckoners and maybe hunters maybe at least one guild lawyer(if for no other reason then the joy of shooting them with a hidden sniper) If I need some heavier face smash maybe one warden. doppleganger for ill omens but not sure past that, or if there is anything else needed. This might be very niche for certain strategies and schemes but I really like the general idea.

An upgrade that lets me take gremlins in a Neverborn crew. Just so I can take sammy and maybe vasilisa madam widow and a bunch of stitched together. Voodoo dolls for everyone....I know they dont work like that but it is still a funny image.

This is probably the dumbest question in the world considering I seem to read nothing but bad things about them but....Do I need all three? I assembled two and starting on the head dress one and I am tempted to just bag it for now and start basing my mah tucket box instead so I can play them all sooner. So would two bushwackers be enough really? I really only own ophelia's box, mah's box, merris, sammy, and soon the wong box. I do really want to give them a try though as at least so I have some variation in my crew makeup XD It is really sad the game is really taking off at my game store....and everyone is playing gremlins(so far it looks like mostly som'er though XD

So for bounty it might be better if you are say taking trixie with the lacroix kin instead of the other way around?

I just got the Mah Tucket box as a gift and am curious if any of the lacroixs would be good with her. I was thinking rami or raphael might work well with bounty or francois might work with the ML bonuses but was curious if any others might work or if the above were good ideas?

Does anyone have any good examples of scheme markers? I know they should be as flat as possible because you can stand on them. I mostly play gremlins right now so I was thinking of just getting some blasted wetlands bases from secret weapons(was planning the same thing for scrap and corpse tokens as well) But I was hoping to see if anyone made any neat ones or as a side note are poker chips 30mm? I was also thinking about using them, I feel scheme markers should have a lot of character to lol

So I am getting the wong box soon and I eel like the lovely assistant needs sequins. I figure the best way to do it would be suing some form of fine glitter some how. But I am not sure how best to paint it on. I saw that valejo has a metal additive and was curious if anyone thinks that would work, And also do you think it would be better if I mixed glitter or metal additive to red paint itself or should I paint the outfit then use a clear paint or medium with the glitter or additive mixed in that?

Okay so me and my friend just had our first game and I decided to complicate it by using the Hooch igniter from Ophelia on his woes and poltergeist. They were set up in sort of a conga line. Poltergeist then a woe then another all in a line, I fired at the middle one thinking blasts worked the same but sadly no. So how do multiple blasts work? And how does stacking conditions such as burning +2 from the blasts work, or would it, we played it as if it didnt because that seemed a bit extreme.

The secret weapons water effects is basically woodland scenics realistic water. I was able to get somewhat close by mixing paints into the realisitc water and just painting it on. a dark coat a light coat, then i used a sponge to stipple a very light yellow green and finally a varnish. I'll try and take an actual finished pic later I realized I never took pictures of the finished crew.

I know this is an odd question but are they normal bone color or are they something else, I have a odd satyr skull thing I want to put on a base amd curious what I should paint it.

Sorry my brain is in overdrive with my first box the kin, Soooo I just finished assembling the young lacroix girl with the big @$$ gun. and I felt a model this animated needs an equally awesome base. So I had a couple ideas that I am trying to figure out how best to do. First and easiest I was thinking of having a "trench" in front of her from her shooting backwards from the kick back. I was thinking easiest was to put down some painters tape, paint over the base in the stirland mud or other texture paint then pull the tape up while it is still wet then once dry paint a second coat. The other part might be more difficult and a bit over done but dangit if it is one thing I do it is overdone bases XD I am trying to come up with a way to show dirt and mud being kicked up by the blast.. So far teh only way I can think of to do this would be to do something similar to this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJ_HfT0OP8o But I am not sure if this will work, but basically put a bunch of hot glue on to wax paper when it starts hardening a bit cut to size then bend it and hold it until it fully hardens. Then glue to the base and paint with the texture paint again....I am not sure there might be a better way.

What would you recommend as a good dark color for the bottom layer? I did a few test bases, so far the best has been either a base of p3 thornwood then a layer of agax mixed with realistic water, or thorn wood mixed with realistic water. Waiting for to dry though. The reason these worked best was the fact that they hide the bases natural texturing better.

well I didnt want to use flock or colored sand because the realistic water tended to still leave it textured so I was honestly thinking of just paint or a vary light texture paint. So far my plan for my gremlins has been as easy of water as I can get no buying special bases or carving bases. But still trying my best to make it look good.

So far I was thinking of painting a mixture of some realistic water and some dark paint then blotching some lustrian undergrowth, then another layer of realistic water. But I wasnt sure. Essentially trying to figure out how best to do the green stuff over top.

So I finally received my ophelia box and was wondering what glue would be best. Back with warmachine and warhammer I tended to use Cyanoacrylate but I was worried about that being a bit much with tiny parts.

Wasnt sure if this is a rule in the book or not, it hasnt arrived yet but is there a limit on the number of henchmen you can have I am planning to play gremlins and no I dont plan to do something nuts like all gremlins but there are times when i would like to run maybe two. For example sammy and trixiebelle. And is it generally considered a bad move to have more then one henchman?

If the only masters you are really interested in are Von Schill, Tara, and maybe Misaki? Or are outcasts separate enough where it doesnt really matter?

So I finally played a demo game, and am now just waiting for my kin starter box, merris and the rule book to arrive, I would have gotten slop haulers to but $$. I will eventually get some slop haulers(before I start buying the coming crew boxes at least) so will then drop a upgrade to add one in But my question is, according to the little army builder I have on my phone for a 50 ss game I essentially have a 6 ss pool left 3 unspent ss left and my cache. Is this okay? Am I shooting myself in the foot to much or would the la croix family be okay if they are slightly shorthanded but get some extra soulstones to burn?
