  1. That is why I feel they are good support models until they need to take one for the team. Tranquil Dance with the trigger doesn't drop harmless or regains them harmless. As you move up the non duet part of a list they put it up to dissuade charges against them, colette, or performer via tranquil. When it is decided to let one go for the team that one steps up and lures a model out of position to be focused on by your crew, if you don't have to walk the oiran you lure into a tranquil no suits for enemy models. The second one is like a performer in that you use it for vp or rear echelon fallback prevention (basically a better angelica due to more options to support besides fallback prevention/rally). Don't get me wrong though I'm am never saying they should go blazing forward into the front lines. But in theory due to having a + on damage flips when harmless they could be used to swapped in via colette to take a cheated in moderate or severe damage on a model with the no witness trigger as a finisher so that any model at 3-4 wounds remaining with no damage prevention (h2w, object, or armor) is a dead model but they themselves aren't putting the work in on said model to get them their (colette, or duet, or dove more than likely is). Basically I'm saying they are a second finisher piece in addition to colette for low(er) wound models. Edit: I have normally found the best use out of them so far in mei or misaki led 10 thunder crews but I have played like 3 games with them in a showgirl crew and like that they don't use ss so I am not tempted to prolong their death like I did with cassie (pre errata cassie really needs something now I feel with the attack errata I'd be tempted to say irresistable instead of harmless but that could be for another topic on another day).

Basically the manne linking to duet, having duet take down a model a turn outside of turn one and using oiran as buff bots (tranquil dance?) with one of them taking one for the team to draw out a manne model, performer vp gathering, colette just supporting the whole crew maybe vp'ing as well, and doves to follow around the duet if I don't win inititive so they "have soulstones" to use when that happens.
  4. I'm more inclined running two (oiran) instead of cassandra now with the "attack errata" in. In all honesty I'm curious about Angelica cause I have tried her a couple times but I never felt the need to keep her in a list after trying her out.
  5. Wouldn't efect dita she is immune to influence and the spell is a wp resist.
  6. Don't underestimate Mccabe's -2 def -2wp spell. For guild with a plethora of high combat total models the minus two to a stat can really help out pour out damage with the increased accuracy of your high combat total attacks. Save any 7+ tome card in your hand for a big turn (usually turn two or three) and play it + ss and you prety much guarentee non ss using models are hit with a great almost cryx like debuff when guild basically have a khador like damage dealing focus dox.
  7. + rail golem 9ss +student 4ss +Lsa 5ss +metal gamin 5ss That leaves 7ss cache with the first 3 you wanted. Student hangs around kaeris + Mei and each turn you figure which will have a more impactful turn with fast. If you don't mind 6ss you can trade lsa for a soulstone miner and 1st turn make the 7th with him for 2 wounds. You will to start with have 3 railwalk targets by turn three more than likely two so you will have mobility via railwalk (I prefer terminus trigger but if you still have all three alive you could do the 15-19" third jump). Metal gamin puts protect on golem and he is your frontline railwalk with if in range of radius spell essentially armor 2 object 2 (object are gamins wounds he takes). If mei gets fast kaeris is more a accelerant bot after mei activates or if you immolate something just don't burn stones and just take weak 3 to keep your cache stable. Soulstone miner can turn two bury and go after a scheme or try to position for a 4ap wackfest on a model you don't like. Generally speaking the hench/master who doesn't get fast can go after objectives. Or on a early turn (say turn two) kaeris can shoot golem twice which gamin takes wounds from (guarenteed 1 wound from armor 2 on golem) to prime him up for a turn 2 reactivate. I have played this list about 5 games so far since all the models came out (proxied gamin a bit) it is a solid list and gives you odd angles of attack. It works best in the new gaining grounds kill strats and can do average to above average in treasure hunt. Struggles for line but me personally thats why I have colette for a arcanist list.

  9. When did they change attack? Also wouldn't a gun/melee spell be considered a attack or is that from the errata?
  10. The totem is also deceptively hitty. At combat 6 with a mask built in if you cheat another mask on a attack total flaming doggie triggers flay and lo and behold has a 3/4/6 range for damage just like the enslaved nephilim but unique to doggy is a flying 10" charge range (charge + melee range).
  11. Title speaks for itself. I'd vote for showgirls vs dreamer in part do to the amount of rules they ignore and sheer plethora of "special rules" they have. I made this up due to always seeing what is the easiest to demo with threads so was curious as to who people thought are the worst to show someone new to the game.

  14. i_ was_like_you the problem with what you posted about irresistable is that it would further continue the non living crew composition we have had become dominant from around book 2 on. I honestly don't feel irressistable is too bad granted it would be annoying on masters all the time and such but there really aren't that many models that have it (off the top of my head performers, liluto, nekima, azoraida and I believe that's it).
  15. Why the cory duet always has a (0) healing flip. Out of all the models you would want conduit on the duet would be the one in a colette crew.
  16. Stuff that has resource or die abilities/triggers example being headshot and such, paralyze abilities/spells. These type of attacks/triggers force the colette player to make them spend a ss on the defense/resist flip and can if done enough force a colette crew into low ss cache mode.
  17. This thread has kinda died but we have for perdita specifically our own triumvirate since book 1 days nino, santi, executioner granted it mainly works well due to the obey's making exe "fast enough" but we have had the same capability for longer then borne have.
  18. First 4 turns you can hit and away with her via her first power stage (turn 1-2 mounted combat into nimble, turns 3-4 you can power manipulation to put her back on power stage 1).

  20. I only value performers when I play ressers. That is generally because most ressers have low wp so potentially quite a bit of ap can be wasted by their irresistable check on them. They are good at grabbing vp the way I normally play colette but oiran could do just the same, however oiran don't bring companion showgirl like a manne does so in a list where I would play the big three of big girl showgirls lists I need the mannequin more. For lists where I only bring 2 of I like the oiran and the third dove.

  22. You often don't take a mannequin for what it does. You take it for what it provides (companion + blinding flash target).
  23. Not a trigger but southern charm is badass. In the other thread that was talking about buffs all lasting to next activation this is probably one of the main abilities why it wouldn't happen for every ability. I could see most getting buff but some just shouldn't (southern charm + mirrors is even better damn near impervious cassie). For triggers I like the run away type ones on gremlins and lynch also the free attacks on misses our good as well for out of activation swings.
