check COOL MINI OR NOT they have a pretty good databse of figs and an online store that accomidates quite a bit Black Scorpion has a nice selection of figs in the "pirate" & "western" theme thier figs often need a bit of cleaning up but they can be purchased via SCALE CREEP Miniatures(Distributor) on the cheap in addition, Freebooter(I think) and Hassel Free miniatures carry a nice line of choices too... price can be high with shipping though...

I'm in agreement I have both masters and little issue iwth the synergies out of the box like any master, enhancments make squads 'round out' and the above suggestions are right on par with what you'll see in the Stradegy discussions

I'll second the simple green as an overall choice Young painters can access it with little harm of injury But it's not my primary choice I prefer PineSol 2:1 with water for 1-2 hours I also find a simple no frills medum tooth brush works well and won't Mar the metal during cleanup

this is what we did I used the Negative woman (Heroclix) aperition(sp?) and mounted it to some Sketons and "Debris" =Dust and then used the Toro Heorclix figure mounted to a 'smoldering' wreckage base =Ashes

I prefer the Testors it's somewhat pricey for half a can ($4.99 USD) but I've never had a bad experience even after they changed the formula I hit my figs up from about 1-2 ft (an arms length ) once and let set, then reapply the following day (Just for good measure...)

I think the Spiders bases are customs Ramos base (If you look closly) is actually the base insert that comes with Johann My self I like the Bases from Micro Art they have a nice variety the ones I like in particular are POWER PLANT & BIO TECH

Nice stuff! The brighter color pallet is a diffrent and in your case a successful change I'm not a fan of the gloss finish though I think a dullcoat would really help bring out the details in your work

I'm not so sure the 3.5 is the solution...

We've tried the HA Method, and the afore mentioned techniques Corigated cardboard, square cardstock shingles are FAR superior and more durable

as a hobby photographer just about any camera upper shelf camera will work in the last 9 months I've come to realize 3 things about taking pics of your work Lighting- you said you have plans to build a rudementary box- great! take a look at "rubbishinrubbishout" from Battle Bunker on youtube and take pointers for how he did his Control Get a stand to mount the camera on; something solid and stable with at least 2 points of articulation Foccus Understand how the Macro works and the shutter speeds; find the "Sweet spot" in you light box so you always know where to position your pieces and camera beyond that it's all bells, whistles and PRACTICE Good luck

Don't misunderstand me- the IDEA is solid (IMO) but (and please don't feel like you have to defend) when terrain set up, which is VERY subjective and fluid in these games... is part of the Masters abilities... I see a major roadblock

I really like the idea of "Terrain Control" for a master... but myself- I just don't see it as an Arcanist held ability... that seems more like the Neverborn... I'm not saying it couldn't be done... just ...

we used the one from the book and Streched it out a bit and use the clues form the map details (Rocky, Baren , swampy etc) & the the description of the Locations (Pumping station, holding facility, sewers) and Laid out our campaign map accordingly

I wouldn't reccomend doing that... take it from me (hahahahaha) I "Took" the VonSchill (My favorite character) and had it replaced within hours with the current "Punishment" Avatar...
