I played about one game in the 1st edition. I would like to (obviously) grab the new core book. I am curious as to what crew box or master/models to grab to re-learn. I'm interested in Ramos as well as Lynch. Would these be considered good sets to learn/re-learn on? Are these masters more "advanced" than some others? Would I be better off grabbing the masters and a certain few models instead of the box to learn for small games? I'm going to try to talk a friend or two into this with me so I have a built in game partner or small group, as nobody in my area seems to be playing much anymore. Thanks in advance all.

Hello. I'm looking to trade the Lucius box set (new and unpainted still in box) and the Sonnia box (unpainted except for Samael, who is primed white all else still in box) as well as a Rules Manual and Rising Powers. I also have a damaged Twisting Fates book (one of the images for the McMourning avatar and the Simulacrum page is torn out partially at the top where the images are, but the stat info is there and in good shape) which I will add into the trade if it is wanted. (I can understand not wanting a damaged book). I am looking to trade for Warmachine stuff, preferably Khador or Protectorate. I am particularly interested in one or both of the faction specific fluff books for these two factions. I would prefer to do all of this as one lot to one trader, but anyone interested please PM me and I will consider parting it out. I just think that all the Malifaux I have listed is the only fair trade for one or both of the books, but I would obviously leave that up to whomever wants to trade. Thanks for having a look!

What is the trickiness of Lucius for a noob? I was gonna play Seamus, but he didn't end up appealing to me and so I'm looking for a new crew. Lucius catches my eye...how hard is he for someone still grasping the rules? Thanks all! Bill

Just about done with my Seamus crew, and I'm anxious to start painting another! In terms of assembly, which of the two Guild crews is less demanding, Lady Justice of Sonnia? I see the very cool Death Marshals posed on their coffins and wonder about pinning and gluing and such, and also wonder if they come posed with their coffins like this. Thanks in advance all!

Hi all. I'm painting my first crew, Seamus, and hated the way his coat turned out. I used some of the wife's nail polish remover and some q-tips, and that got most of it off, but there are still some crevices where it doesn't seem to want to come out. I'm afraid that it would wreck my brush to get those chemicals on it, so is there anything better to get all the paint off? Also, I do plan on re-priming him, so will the new primer coat take care of covering some residual paint? Thanks in advance for the advice all.

Can the Onryo or Ikiryo models be used by Seamus? I'm still really new to this, and there are places where some of the rules are taking me a bit to get used to as this is also my first tabletop mini game. All I am working with now is the Seamus box crew, but might buy a few more clamshells besides the Copycat Killer and maybe Bete Noire. I really like the look of the Onryo in particular...and some of the nastiness they seem to be able to inflict. Or would I just be better off buying Kirai's crew as an alternate? Thanks in advance all.
