  1. I've been using a WFB orc chariot base with some small crates and sacks set on it. It was originally just a terrain piece so it doesn't have a beast of burden pulling it. I imagine the Battle For Skull Pass Pony would be easy enough to work in though
  2. I used little teeny tiny balls of greenstuff to attach mine along with Zap A Gap. As long as I don't tie a string to the arcs and swing em around they're on pretty solid and you can't see any traces of the greenstuff.
  3. I am not really a zombie fan. Not a horror fan at all. However I LOVE this show. It's really well done. I love that some of the zombies hold a little bit of their previous life in some of their actions. The little girl with her Teddy. The guys wife trying to open the door to the house. The zombies "riding" the bus. Great show.
  4. Beautiful job! Now you just need to put the gremlin from the warpig on a flying base as a launch marker!
  5. I'm an ADHD guy here. I very rarely use the same master twice in a row and if I do it definately isn't the same crew. I've gotten to the point where I'll flip a card from the deck to randomly pick my faction (rams are Gremlins since I have no guild crews ). I just love trying out different things.
  6. I painted them to look like canvas. I assumed it was canvas covering the orb as it was brought on to the battle field. Then when it was hastily pulled off to allow the orb to float away it just hung off the sides where it was attached.
  7. He looks really cool and even more menacing. I like it!
  8. These are ridiculously cool. Great job. If they happen to send you a picture of the full cake with these on top please post it. I'd love to see that.
  9. Yes sir. I know there is a black, white and rust color as well as grey.
  10. Duplicolor Sandable Primer. I get mine at Advanced Auto Parts or Pep Boys. I swear by this stuff. Coats nice and even. I found it recommended on the Brush Thralls site a few years ago. Haven't looked back since.
  11. I have my 40k Plague Marine army on 30mm round lipped bases (they look so much nicer) and use them in the local GW without issue. I'll echoe Nate's suggestion for DragonForge. The Lost Empire or Ancient Ruin bases would work particularly well: http://www.dragonforge.com/Painting%20service/for%20sale/store%20directory/roundlip_base_sets.htm From my experience Jeff is one of the nicest guys you'll ever deal with.
  12. I'm another who forgets things all the time. Normally we just let it slide and remember to apply the results next turn or whever they pop up again. I've started putting random counters next to those models who's rules I have the most trouble remembering. Makes me look at the card to see why I marked them.
  13. She looks good! Really good. I have the same exact figure and wings but could not for the life of me figure out how to attach the wings without them looking huge. So I nixed them and grabbed some hero clix Hawkgirl wings. Maybe I should have been more patient because painted the wings don't look that big after all!
  14. Nice work. I like the Steamborg in particular. The verdigris look on the legs looks really good.
  15. Upcoming model from Freebooter: http://www.freebooterminiatures.de/en/news/596 Miedo a Morir to be released next week. Miedo a Morir stalks his prey like a giant, er, stalking thing. And then reaps a bloody harvest with his enormous scythe. He wouldn't look out of place in a Neverborn crew
  16. No Miss Pack's for me, however I love this box. I think Stitched Together is my new favorite mini. .
  17. That's so awesome....and now I get why she's called Miss Pack. My BD Box should be here this week. Hopefully I'll win the lottery too.
  18. The con exclusives have been available to purchase from the webstore during the convention weekend and they've only been alternate sculpts of existing models thus far.
  19. Great minds think alike and all that... I've been using Reaper Pumkin men as Daydreams. I only have one painted up so far:
  20. If Wyrd were to release the faction decks (again) I'd hope they wouldn't remove the option of buying singles. Buying an Arcanists deck and then a few random Merc cards would definately take the sting off the shipping charges over just buying a few singles.
  21. Yeah I'll admit, the start of that thread can be a little misleading More spiders is always a good thing. When I started Ramos I started with six single spiders, three swarms (made from two spiders on a base), Steamborg, and Johan. Having played Ramos a couple times now I would say Rusty Alyce is invaluable at the 35+ mark and the Mobile Toolkit Totem is a must have at any level. I've also had the Large Steampunk Arachnids (I used Brass Arachnid totems on 40mm bases) perform well and when they die they left token fodder for Alyce to bring in her Steampunk Abominations (A spell I didn't think I'd use). Johan has only ever killed one model...he got a lucky pistol shot off on a cardless, stoneless Perdita and killed her. I've got my mind set on trying out the Guild Guardian in an upcoming game 25stone game.
  22. Top of the page, mate. Ramos tactica is stickied there.
  23. Help help! Here come the bears! Seems quite appropriate. I got goosebumps when I opened the thread and saw your pics. Nostalgia at its best!
  24. I'd be more then happy to buy faction decks with all the new cards for Book 2 in them.
