This idea sounds a lot like Bloodbowl.... Except a lot better.... because it involves Malifaux .... Which makes it so incredibly amazing. Though one idea might be to shorten the field a bit to more of 3x2 that way the effects from the crowd actually get involved in game play more than the possible avoidance and priority on ball carrier and ball.... Though I totally wanna play this now....

I know this really only effects the Nicodem players out there but I'm just really curious. Anyone know if we are ever going to see another set of Mindless Zombies coming out? I don't know about other people but I'm really trying to avoid using the same models twice just for aesthetics.... Sure I could paint them differently and all that jazz but I'm just curious if there are going to be another set of Mindless Zombies sometime soon or if ever?

You could always take the Ht 1 you model you currently have and then Green stuff it on a Ht2 Rainbow... and have him flying on it.... At least that's the way I image "Thing of Nightmares: On Dreaming Wings" would work.... but then again I also painted my Teddy to look like a Care Bear.... so I might not be the best to ask.... heh

Totems are incredibly situational and honestly all totems have a point where they are necessary. I personally own both Primordial Magic and Poltergeist cause I find that they both have their advantages. When playing with Treasure hunt or Claim jump are on poltergeists ability to cause things to progress slower as well as adding WP duels to close range is nice (Also if you are fighting a melee based crew nice to have). I don't really use Primordial Magic all that much unless having that hand advantage is really necessary (Though with a Doppleganger on the board hand advantages aren't always that important.) Usually though I just don't field a totem with Pandora because the SS's with her do wonders . But yeah.... my two cents.

The way I've used them in the past is to bring them into play with Nicodem instead of paying for them. Then Rigor Mortis the model you want to get hit... Then cast shafted near them... that way when they activate they really can't do much. But yeah... I personally like them as a ranged option...

I think the only time where slaughter is at a disadvantage is when it's vrs. Reconnoiter and that's only because reconnoiter involves having units spread across the board which can be difficult to deal with. But the rest of the strategies (Minus Assassinate) you already know where the other crew will be (Claim jump = Middle, Treasure Hunt = Their Deployment Zone etc. etc.) and that makes it incredibly easy to take them out.

*Badum Pssh!* Yeah.... I don't know what it is.... I've even played a McM crew that wasn't his box set and more tailored to be not horrible and I just couldn't get into it..... It's weird...

Hands down it's gotta be Kirai and Lord Chompy Bits for me. Poor Dora needs a Brawl partner and I just have this thing for All thing Ressurectionist (Except for McM.... Never been a fan <.<).

I'd definitely say Pandora because honestly she is not one of those masters that you are going to pick up and play for the first time and be awesome with. Most of the time it takes about 3-4 horrible horrible losses till you realize why your sucking so much <.< but that's just my opinion. Though having a friend who plays Som'er and plays him well I think he would be in that list too just because Som'er is a special one who also happens to be really quirky. Zoraida's ability to run away from everything I think makes Zoraida a bit easier just for the fact if you mess up that bad poof 20" away you go <.<.

Towards the bottom of the ad for the Gremlinette it says "Gremlinette will be shipped to people with valid entries by August 31." So I'm assuming they are problem gonna start shipping them around beginning to mid august to the people who had valid entries. Though since they problem had quite a bit of entires and having to go through them all to make sure they are kosher it might take a lot of time to send emails to everyone when it happens <.< but that's just my two cents

The errata for Treasure hunt does specify that "The treasure Counter does not count as being carried if carried by an Insignificant model at the end of the game" which by that it would lead me to assume that an Insignificant model can carry it so yeah. Though honestly with the whole "Slaughter being too hard!" debate I think that Slaughter is much easier to accomplish than Assassinate most of the time. I'd much rather and find it far easier to kill someones entire army minus the master to get the points then it is to kill the opposing master AND keep your master alive. There are some masters that are just really difficult to kill and it makes assassinate harder than it really should be. While there are some crews where the minions are incredibly easy to mow through and make getting at least 2VP easy. I think the fact that Slaughter is a Purely Offensive Strategy while Assassinate is a Mixture of Offensive/Defensive make them both difficult in their own respects.

I actually like how you made it so Taelor was actually wearing a shirt that fit her instead of one that was about 6 sizes too small... That and the "team" look to them is really nice!

Hi everyone. I'm from Flagstaff, Arizona and I just recently started up Malifaux this week. I had a bunch of friends from phoenix recently get me hooked on this game and I gotta say I love it. I'm currently running a Nicodem crew and thinking about the possibilities of either making crews towards the other resurrectionists masters or heading over to pandora and the Neverborn. Looking forward to meeting the community and hoping to get some people to play in Flagstaff.
