  1. Sweet! Now all I need is the Insideous Madness .
  2. Yeah...the new boxes are a touch more. But, still a good value.
  3. Nice work! Looks awesome. Be curious to see how the real one compares.
  4. Love the skin tone on baby kade. Nice work all around.
  5. Interesting take. I'll look forward to more. Looking great!
  6. Excellent! I love Lady J. Great job on the white.
  7. It's a great paintjob. And the basing is tight too. Nice work.
  8. Excellent work! I love the basework for Pandora. Very Clever.
  9. I don't much see the point of alternate Master sculpts. but, I'd not be opposed to them. I'd like to see (in order of release) 1) Book 2 models 2) Book 3 3) book 3 models 4) alternate sculpts of various troops (guild guard, belles, zombies of all shapes, teddy, vultures, daydreams, basically, anything I'm going to have more than the current booster size of in my crew potentially) But, I'm not trying to tell Wyrd ho to run their business. Just my opinon. Nothing more...nothing less.
  10. That's a fun concept! I love the idea of Seamus as a bottler.
  11. May not be at your LGS. but, there may be a Henchman in your area willing to come demo it for you. Where are you located? The game is pretty simple to learn though. I taught myself after reading the book. I'm now doing demos at my LGS.
  12. Wait...San Jose has a team? When did that happen? Don't they realize hockey is played on ICE?
  13. Welcome. As Dan said, we've got some stuff cooking. Black Sun Games is in Chicago. It's a smallish store. They don't cary the full line yet. but, if interest peaks, they are willing to stock it better. But, they will order anything you want from any line. They've got a few gaming tables and we're building their terrain up. They've already got a nice selection. But, I'd like for them to have some rivers and Malifaux terrain. So, I'm going to start holding terrain sessions after Halloween sometime. I'm at the store every tuesday usually by 5pm. I always have my Malifaux stuff with me and usually a random board game in case no one shows for Malifaux. But, there is a forum set up for Malifaux if you need to schedule a different date and time. If you sign up on the forums. Make sure you send them an email to let them know you're not a bot. Otherwise, they will take a very long time to approve your application. Dan's got things rocking at Games Plus on Mondays and has regular tourneys set up there too. So, there's plenty of opportunity to get some Malifaux in. Hope to meet you at the Tourney in December at Games Plus .
  14. GASP! Does GW know you're on this site?!?!?! Good God man! That's blasphemy.....wait....are you an Inquisitorial assassin? RUN EVERYBODY! JK....this is a great game. I have been a loyal GW flunky....er fan since 1979. I have a huge game room devoted to it's wonderful product. However, Malifaux is the one non GW game I've allowed myself and have enjoyed it immensely. Simplest way to start? Pick up a rulebook and take a look at the crews. Choose one you like. Unlike GW games, you can have a whole faction assembled in a few evenings. Painted in a week of solid painting. Although you really only need 5-10 models to start playing. A crew box is usually the best place to start. Or if you're obsessed witha faction, pick all the crew boxes up and have 60-75% of the faction and a really nice choice. If you're looking for a particular play style, let us know what you like to play and we'll steer you in the right direction.
  15. I'm good either way....as long as I don't have to say no to the panda. I never say no to Panda.
  16. Love the purple. Very different for her.
  17. I'd like a set. Let me know the shipping to chicago, Illinois 60618 USA Thaks for the offer!
  18. He is definately killable. I have played on both sides which gives me a bit of an advantage. People who are griping about him just haven't played enough games. All I can say is Daydreams are almost vital to his survival. Is he tough to take down? Not in LCB form. in dreamer form...yes. He's tough if he's got nightmares anywhere near him. As they have to take them out first. But, I would go to Karn's thread and request his doc. It's very good.
  19. You forgot Stitched Togethers. They are gold in a nightmare crew. I field 25 ss: -Dream/LCB -Coppelius -2 stitched -Insideous madness All start buried. 1)I get Dreamer into a good position with I CAN FLY, summon a daydream and charge LCB in combat if possible. And then try to summon all my lovelies at once. 2) Coppelius comes out and tries takes a few eyeballs on turn one. Summons an alp if possible. 3) If not, daydream burries him or reverts LCB to the dreamer if neccessary and cast a few spells at anything in reach. 4) Stitched do their fog thing and hit what they can and play bodyguard for The dreamer. 5) Alps (summoned in throughout do their slow/dogpile/hurt slow things thing 6) Insidious Madness chases things off the table that are panicing from Coppellius. Obviously Teddies are fantastic at larger points. I like this setup for generating Sousltones at the beginning. 2 stitched for one teddy. Lelu and lelita is something I've not tried yet. So, can't really comment on them yet. Maybe next game.
  20. Sounds awesome. If you could find a good way to mold and cast, might be worth it.
  21. Niiicce! I really like the style and clean job you did for these guys (and gal). Your faces are fantastic.
  22. Excellent! I love the green on the dress. Very nice and subtle. The pink on Sybelle's outfit is awesome. It cracks me up to see a zombie Matron in pink.
