Yeah, I know in my other thread I said I hated using proxies (mostly because I am way too lazy to make Ulix, Penelope, Ol' Major, and the Sow all in plastic - because plastic is a must for me so no peaches as a base), BUT I heard that there are some awesome conversions (note conversion not proxy, all the difference in the world...) using a new bayou gremlin, but I haven't had much luck on the google-machine. Can anyone help me out finding one? Thanks!

Yay or nay? I am thinking of picking this guy up, but he seems super specialized and with Ulix nowhere on the horizon (and me not much of a fan of proxies) I am not sure if I will be using him at all. So, I guess the question is, can you help talk me into spending some money on him for running with Somer, Ophelia, or Zoraida?

It is fantastic looking. Also I dropped that damn arm and almost lost it. Luckily my 5 year old saved the day.

Gracie and Bert are also both plastic. He'd be fine. Edit: everything that is currently or soon to be out based on gencon releases (excluding the nightmare model) are bayou boss set, extra box of bayou gremlins, slop haulers, war pig, kin box, Bert, Gracie, and Wong. Plus Zoraida but her stuff doesn't carry over. Without converting that gives a very solid foundation of different play style masters and crews that can compete in any strat and scheme pool. It also limits his options which really helps to keep from being overwhelmed with choices or purchases and is really the core of what he'll need to learn to play.

If you have access to any 40k players you could get a chainsword from them and put it on the fishing pole gremlin. Do Wong for the bomber and then use a bit of fine jewelry chain to connect ravage and his pigsplosive together as ball and chain.

You could do pigs as trolls.

Sorrows, barbaros, the depleted, nekima, young nephalim - 5 models every Neverborn player should have on his shelf. They are all gorgeous.

I've been using an old detail brush to apply plastic glue and it has been working well for me. I have benign tremors so my hands tremble constantly and this method has been working really well. It takes a long time but that is because I often have to take breaks if they start to shake too bad. Grab an old brush and try it out. I wish I had started doing that before the tremors activated.

The new gremlin aesthetic is what made me at all interested in playing them. The size issue seems to be plaguing almost all factions.

So, I was expecting Zoraida (primarily a Neverborn player) but found myself with a few extra things courtesy of a model trade that has me dipping a toe in the bayou. These additions are the Somer box (minus Johana), a box of bayou gremlins, a slop hauler box and an unbuilt pig (maybe Gracie? No card but it looks like pots and pans on a pig). My question is, can I run Gremlins with just those models? I might be able to get Wong (no starter box though?) as well. I know it's pretty limited but I only want to use platic models. So would it be a waste of time with such limited options for both me and my opponent or would it be interesting and competitive? Thanks!

I can't wait until she is plastic. I am only playing with models that are released in plastic. To save myself from breaking that vow I am personally not even reading other non-plastic cards except to see what they do. No planning or anything. I am thinking of it as leveling up in an MMO, and I have not unlocked those pieces yet. But I am a fan of people developing the tactics ahead of time so I do read all of these
