  1. Earth! Fire! Wind! Water! ... Heart?!
  2. I'm struggling to get my McM crew table-ready for a tourney on the 28th. Even if Karai and her friends showed up tomorrow, she likely wouldn't see daylight for a few weeks. No rush, Wyrd (at least not on my account).
  3. Huh. Good to know. I've been pronouncing it Kee-rye.
  4. Mine is 3251. I ordered on the last day of GenCon, if I recall correctly.
  5. No worries, Nathan. I can appreciate your position. I own a business myself, we recently expanded to include a small complex next door. Myself, my wife and her father-in-law have been renovating all summer, preparing for today (when the doors re-open for the first time). We're no where near ready. Attempting to handle our usual work-load on top of the reno has proven to be impossible in the time frame allotted. Hiring a team of builders? Simply not an option, money is too tight. The do-it-yourself world of small business. Good times. On the other side of the coin, I would love to have your problem. I pray the press of potential customers beating down our door is so vast and eager, they choke our beautiful new lobby with their dead. Good luck, sir!
  6. Nathan has mentioned that the Victoria Sword Mistress and a few of the more fiddly sculpts were some of the first Wyrd produced. They've learned a lot since then and may even re-think some of the joins on a number of the earlier sculpts. He specifically mentioned Victoria's wrists, if I recall correctly.
  7. S'more Reaper, for Flesh Golem potential: ... and of course the go-to Heresy stand-in. I actually own this guy and he looks great alongside the Wyrd stuff. His hand is held high and prepped for a simple meat hook conversion job: Though yeah, I'd love to see an official alternate Flesh Golem sculpt from Wyrd. Definitely.
  8. I made the conscious decision to specialize in the Rezzer faction for this very reason. If I didn't, I'd have more crews than I'd know what to do with. There's just too much hawtness. Wyrd needs to take a serious look at what they're doing, maybe release a few sub-standard, downright terrible sculpts. How are we expected to cope with this, otherwise?
  9. Good to know. I'm not a Seamus fan at all, but I really like the sound of Molly. I'm glad she doesn't lean on the Hatter. Otherwise I'd be forced to avoid her.
  10. Oh man. So excited. My Book 2 is en route alongside the Karai box, a blister of Gaki and a puppet deck. Not to mention a Miss Pack. Quick, quick. Hooray for USPS airmail!
  11. OoooooOOOo. Special ... Forces? I'm picturing zombies with night vision goggles, flashbangs and silenced sub machine guns. Awesome.
  12. How big is he? Do we have dimensions? Besides being LCB, he'd make an awesome Daemon Prince for WHFB or whatever. EDIT: Nevermind, 72mm at the eyes.
  13. Kirai! Rez me, yo. Love the theme. That said, the Colette box and LE Lord Chompy are siiiiiiiiick ...
  14. *****. *****. *****? Huh. ***** is filtered. I had no idea.
  15. Sweet merciful crap, that's terrifying. ... the D&D one, maybe the Vargouille? Basically the same thing, Gygax must've co-opted the Malaysian legend. So stoked for Kirai, btw.
  16. Yes, but is "summoned Slow" identical to plain ol' regular Slow? When a model is summoned and is Slow, does the -1 AP carry over to the next activation if the model does not activate (as is the case with Leve), or does it end when the turn ends (as seems to be indicated by the text) regardless of whether or not the summoned model has activated?
  17. *fingers crossed for new errata coinciding with GenCon/Book 2 releases*
  18. Yeah. My last game versus Tina, I only managed to get one Flesh Construct out. Bad cards, poor flips, etc. Can't say I've ever had 20 body parts. At least you'd be able to keep up with Perdita using Passion.
  19. Truth. I've found that nothing pisses off an opponent like three (air)free(quotes) Flesh Constructs running amok. "What the hell? You don't have to pay for those??" "Well, they do cost five body part counters. And the casting cost is pretty high ..." (frothing) *nerd rage*
  20. Yar, specifically WS's "living" errata. Awesome change, a win for the Team Rez! I can't speak from a TON of experience, but I used her last night to great effect versus the Ortega family. There's often a ton of fodder on the field in a Nic game, lots of death for Bete to be drawn to. You can deploy quite a few cheapo models, knowing their eventual corpse counters will be resurrected as more powerful minions. I found her indispensable. She killed Papa Loco (the perfect candidate to drop the crazy bugger), took a chunk out of Perdita and tied up friggin' Nino until games end (he would've died next turn, had the game continued).
  21. Yeah, I need to find some good proxies (since I can't stand dupes). Had a game last night with the original three, ran out. My opponent was kind enough to allow me to use Punks as stand-ins, but that won't fly against most people. Indeed. I went up against Ortegas with two Crookedies and they really helped. Cave In + Bolster + Cooked versus shooting, they're auto-includes against Perdita and fam. Three Canines and Bete also ensured I got in close, fast. Healing with Decay during melee really put my opponent in a bad spot. My Vulture trundled around and picked up the corpse counters (of which there were many).
  22. Second the motion. Time for some fiiiiireweeeeerks!
