@Jonahmaul @J_D As regular Hannah is set for a December release I can't see them scuppering their sales of that by releasing a TTB Hannah for Black Friday. As it was listed as LE rather than KS exclusive I can see them selling them in the future, just not right at this minute. Rest easy and yes I too just bought 1 for an inflated price but I was happy to. D.

Just a quick one as it cropped up in a game recently. Tengu have shooting star 'at the start of this model's activation it may be placed within 5" of a friendly scheme marker' Traps have 'at the beginning of an enemy model activation it must take a Wk duel or receive slow' [paraphrase] My question is which one happens first? My tengu wanted to escape the trap but my opponent thought the trap's ability goes first. In the end it was ruled trap goes first. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this. D.

Black Friday will last from the Friday after Thanksgiving (28th November) and will usually go through until Cyber Monday (1st Decmber) and typically also incorporates Wyrd's birthday so we get presents too - in the past this has included pre-release of models not out for a few months after the Black Friday sale, some old stock that were limited editions or just trying to sell old stuff (like puppet wars metal models as single figures last year) D.

The hanging tree is the only useful thing in that box - the Nathan and Eric minis are on the wrong size bases to use as Hanged alt sculpts unfortunately. D.

If you want to utilize your current model pool I'd go with Levi, Tara and Jack as more complex masters than Vik. Proxy and see for yourself. D.

My recent orders with Arcane Miniatures have all bee fine, sometimes a slight delay and a delay in responding to emails but their prices are good and for me have always been reliable. D.

Toshiro can bring Punk Zombies to a 10Thunder list and can summon Ashigaru and Komainu based on the type of counters lying around. D.

I put my skeeters on flying stands with magnets to remove when storing them. D.

We were drinking Hobgoblin Halloween brew at the Malifaux UKGT last weekend. Delicious! D.

I would definitely go small to begin with - 25-30SS henchman games with known schemes and a simple strategy - Turf War with Breakthrough and Distract. This means getting mpodels to the centre for scoring, Breakthrough will teach him how interactions with scheme markers work and Distract shows interactions with enemy models (not necessarily killing them) to score points. With Toshiro he can also summon Ashigaru from corpses which will show summoning rules (slow, half wounds) and will also get him playing some models that come with Yan Lo's box. D.
