Normally there have been Malifaux games at Area 51 on Saturday, but they may play on other days as well.

Looks like Madness Comics is in Denton? That's a little far for me. There used to be one in McKinney, but I heard it closed. I'd love to be able to do a bi-weekly game, but weeknights are tough for me due to work and kids. Usually Saturdays or Sundays work best.

Let me know if you guys need some help. I'd love to help get people interested in the game and I'm willing to just watch and help out with the rules. I also have a number of crews available for people to play before they buy.

I'm in Plano and I've been to Hobbytown a few times and I asked them about Malifaux and they said there were no games. When do you guys play? I have played some at Area 51 and some at Gamer's Realm (which is closing for at least a few months unfortunately) but I'm always looking for other games.

Isn't the NDA lifted since the book is now out?

We need to do another game soon so I can see them.

When can we expect the store to have the new Book 2 stuff available for order? Do we have a specific time when they will be available for order? Like Thursday at 8 am or 10 am or whatever?

For my Malifaux models I only use paint on primers. I used to use spray on primers but I ran into a lot of the problems described here, plus I find that it is difficult to get good coverage with a spray on. You have much more control over filling in the crevaces and cracks of the models with a paint on.

I fit my two mature Nephilim into the pluck foam tray without much problem. I did have to angle them in though.

I only ruins the fun for the ones that don't pick the winner.

I currently have 3 factions in it, but I don't have all the models for each faction. I have a large number of resurrectionists, a decent number of archanists and a smaller number of neverborn in there currently. I also have a small number of outcasts that I use as mercenaries for my other factions. That being said, I do have enough points in the bag in all three factions to do a fairly large scale brawl. I haven't totalled up my exact count of points, but I'm sure I could easily field 70-80 points per faction. I fits the models well, I just wasn't expecting it to be so small since I have another battlefoam bag (P.A.C.K. 432) and it's significantly larger.

Well, I just got my Malifaux bag. It is actually smaller than I thought it was. Pretty tiny. Doesn't fit all my models (I have a bunch), but fits about 80% or so. Other than the size, I don't have any issues so far. Construction is solid and the plucked foam tray is pretty deep. Fits things like the Mature Nephilims, Killjoy, Teddy, Steamborg Executioner, etc fairly well.

What do you mean he failed to damage him? Armor can't totally prevent damage, even on a weak hit you still do a minimum of 1 point.

Sorry about that. I doubt the pre-cut Space hulk trays would hold your order up. I do know that I was waiting for that bag and as soon as I saw it available I ordered, so I'm guessing I just got my order in before you. Fedex says my bag will be delivered on August 2nd, but I won't be going to Gencon (unfortunately) so I won't get to show it off.

Hmm. Didn't Spencer from 40k radio just get out of the podcasting business? And didn't he express an interest in Malifaux a while back on his old podcast? (Spencer and the rest of the 40k radio folks are the ones that turned me on to Malifaux) Let the speculation begin!

And I just got an email saying mine has shipped via Fedex ground on July 28th. Woot!

I'm going to be putting on a few demo games at the Gamer's Realm store on Saturday July 31st at 1 pm. Anyone who wants to show up is welcome. I have enough figures to host 2-3 25 pt games with figures for both sides.

And hopefully there will be someone back at Wyrd home base to fulfill orders that are placed on the 5th.

Ohhh. Von Shill sounds oh so very WWI era German to me. Will he have the traditional spiked helmet?

A better question is when will the bag start shipping for those of us that pre-ordered directly from Battlefoam. Kind of hoping they may ship it before the con so those that pre-ordered could take it to the con with them (would be great advertising for both Wyrd and Battlefoam).

I'm not trying to go all Dexter on my models. Just want some of the models in my crews to have realistic spatter for things like saws, other melee weapons etc. I'm not looking for accuracy, just how to do the effect (i.e. are people putting the paint on the brush and flicking it, dabbing it on, etc).

Actually it is much more difficult for Seamus to summon Belles than it is for Nicodem to summon any non-unique.

I always seem to have a hard time painting realistic blood splatter. Both the pattern and the proper coloring. Does anyone have an suggestions on painting blood splatter?
