  1. I would have to agree tactics would be helpful. I know in my group they've been so focused on the rules that its hard to see all the synergy the box sets have.
  2. I might be up for this, been hard at work trying to make all the terrain from the back of the book. If I may offer a suggestion, when you start you should randomly assign from the encounter charts.
  3. Just posted pics of my corpse, scrap and blood counters.
  4. For corpse counters I made my own and I'm just using mechanithralls as a stand in for mindless zombies at the moment.
  5. The paper tokens are really useful. I created my own and I think they look pretty cool, at least until wyrd makes some.
  6. Seamus can be really dangerous. In one of the games I played recently he got to a graveyard and could pop out a new belle every turn. If you take the Resurectionist scheme it's almost a sure thing. The belles work best in large groups use one to lower the stats, one to lure then beat on them with the rest. I'm still trying to make sure I have all the rules down, but each box seems to have some synergy. It seems that at 30 SS you'll get the most out of the game, adding a few models will shore up any glaring weaknesses.
  7. The tree was made out of floral wire armature, covered in celluclay, details were then added with greenstuff. I uploaded a photo of the armature here. I used a 50mm base and made sure it was 6" tall so it fits the description in the back of the book.
  8. Thanks for the kind words. I posted some new pics of my hanging tree, scrap pile and finished swamps.
  9. I posted a battle report from a 4-way scrap between Seamus, Marcus, Raputina and Lilith. Read bout it here: http://twilightemporium.net
  10. I posted some WIP pics with the mature Nephilim and Nicodem for reference. http://www.twilightemporium.net/gallery/terrain/
  11. The tombstones are perfect, I picked up a few packs to make graveyards. http://www.twilightemporium.net/gallery/terrain/
  12. Yeah it's hard to believe. This game is just so cool. I've finshed two crews for guys in my gaming group, have 2 more to finish then I can work on my own... We've go in 4 multiplayer games and have picked up on the rules quickly. I've yet to have a regular scrap though. The terrain in the back of the book has been keeping me extra busy. I did realize that those plastic disks that come with CDs is perfect to keep the terrain uniform. It's just large enough to not dominate the table but gives models room to interact.
  13. It's also helpful to use as templates. It's really cheap for most of it and you can scale it how you want. I still prefer to have things that are substantial so I will print them out scaled how I need and then cut the pieces out of foamcore and detail them myself.
  14. I use floral wire and celluclay (instant paper mache). Basically you build your fram out of the thicker floral wire and use the thinner to make the individual branches. Once you have the frame built mix use the celluclay and cover the entire thing let it dry for 24 hours or so and let it dry. Apoxysculpt is great it you want to add faces or whatnot, but the texture of the paper mache looks like believable bark. Paint it and then use scenic cement to attach this stuff that looks like those spider webs you get at halloween. Liberally spray that with scenic cement and sprinkle coarse turf to make the leaves. Here's a link to the display bases I did for my Circle armies http://www.twilightemporium.net/gallery/warmachinehordes/
  15. Hello everyone, I just posted some WIP shots on my site http://twilightemporium.net I'm hoping to get some battle reports from our multipalyer games up in the next few days. Enjoy.
  16. If you're going to use the Whitewash City terrain you'll probably want to scale it up about 165%. I downloaded the sample piece and used it as a template to build a saloon. Here's a link to the WIP shots http://twilightemporium.net
  17. Check out my site for tips and tactics: twilightemporium.net

  18. Sweet, so Pandemonium will be stocking the full line?
  19. Here's and idea to make Faction Specific Soul Stones. You'll need: Glass florists beads (available at craft stores) in your faction color Self Stick Felt White Glue Compass Cutter To start I cleaned up the faction logos in photoshop and scaled them to fit in a 3/4-in. x 3/4-in. square. Then printed them out with a laser printer (if your don't have access to a laser printer make a copy on a xerox machine, ink jet will bleed). The next step is to measure the diameter of the flat part of the glass bead; set your compass cutter to that diameter and cut out the logos. Next using white glue (I prefer tacky glue to elmers) put a blob of glue on the bottom of the bead and stick the logo to it (printed side up). Let this dry for 24 hours. When you come back to it you'll be able to see your faction logo through the bead. To finish them up and make them look professional, take the compass cutter and cut circles out of the self stick felt. Apply them to the backs of your stones and you have a nice set of gemlike soulstones in your faction color. I'll post pictures soon.
