  1. Yup, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the current "sexist" factions saw some masters of another gender.
  2. Very nice, I love its "edge of the bayou" feel.
  3. YES! I will be watching that for sure!
  4. How much artistic license would be needed? Is the Leviathan really that big? I suppose it could be done like the titans (or whatever they're called) from 40K... There are some impressive "sort of to scale" scratch builds of those.
  5. One might even call them the Wyrd Sisters...? (Weird Sisters)
  6. I've thought about it, believe me... However such a large project always loses out to painting my ever-increasing mountain of metal.
  7. I personally prefer the third runner up after Electric Boogaloo: Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot Cowboy Hobos With Chain-Katanas And Several Revolvers And The Power Of Friendship Fighting Vampire Nazis With Dark Magic Riding Cyborg Dinosaurs With Head Mounted Lasers Voiced By Kevin Michael Richardson Attacked by Snakes On A Submarine Jet With Desert Polar Bears Crashing Into An Ancient Zeppelin With Alien Anacondas In SPACE With Chuck Norris And Samuel L Jackson With Lesbian Time Travelling Bikini Werewolf Catgirls Dual Wielding Febreze
  8. I wish they would make official rules for the Leviathan... I've made some unofficial ones, but being able to use the Leviathan in an official game would be all kinds of awesome.
  9. Not a bad idea... He could have some nice synergy with Bishop.
  10. As far as I understand it, (all) actions use all of your AP for the turn, however many that may be. So a model with Slow could still use an (all) action.
  11. Wyrd would never sink so low! :ban:
  12. Don't you just love it when people's posts are so helpful?
  13. Yep, just that easy. You can buy blue foam (may actually be pink or green, but its mostly the same stuff just different colors) at Home Depot or Lowes in the States... not sure about other countries, though. They usually come in large sheets (for insulating a house) and cost somewhere around $12 for a 6' by 4' sheet. Working with it is pretty straightforward... you can cut it with an xacto, sand it smooth and paint it. Also, a hot wire cutter is a great investment if you need to cut a lot of foam for various projects, etc... You can paint polystyrene foam ("blue foam") with standard acrylic craft paints, no priming necessary. (Although a good solid black or white base coat never hurt) *NEVER USE SPRAY PRIMER/PAINT ON FOAM, IT WILL DISSOLVE AND MELT!* Hope this helps, and good luck!
  14. I carved some out of polystyrene foam (insulation foam) and then painted them in icy colors. (A friend of mine did the same thing, only he used several small pieces of foam instead of one solid piece)
  15. Wow, that's gorgeous... Can't wait to see it all painted up!
  16. Try forgoing the steamborg and the swarms and replacing them with lots and lots of steampunk arachnids. Use your arachnids to engage and tie up models or detonate and do 2 irresistible damage. Ramos should hang way back and create as many spiders as possible to make up for any who exploded. With any luck, you should be able to do a lot of damage with very few Wp tests. Above all, don't get discouraged... Ramos has a steeper learning curve than most. Keep at it and you'll see how good Ramos can be.
  17. I'm honestly not sure what to think of these...
  18. I'm going. I missed last year's tourny, but I'm preparing my Ramos crew for this year... Gotta represent the M&SU!
  19. First off, it sounds to me like your opponent is casting way too many Incite/Pacify in one turn if he can do all that... I would double check your opponent didn't misread the card or something. Second, which master do you typically use? I would try using Nicodem to spam mindless zombies/canine remains. Engage the Dopp and Pandora (since they are apparently close by) with enough mindless zombies or canines to prevent them from casting all of the spells which are hurting you so much. Also, you could try to chain lure individual models away from the main group using Rotten Belles and then ganging up on one model at a time with several punk zombies. Bette Noir might also force your opponent to think twice before killing your models, since he could get Bette in the face. (preferably with Bolster Undead to make her even better) Of course, McMourning could probably take on Pandora in melee quite easily if he can get close enough. Hope this helps.
  20. Darn... No Electrical Creation...
  21. The Death Marshals also have a good "western" feel to them, as well as good mix of melee and ranged. Of course, the Ortegas are about as western themed as they come, if that's what you want.
  22. Congrats on the win. So when are y'all going to meet up at GPC again, because I'd love to see if I can join in the fun.
