  1. Zombies! Must. Have. Love the half-man pulling himself along with his arms.
  2. Ok, I wasn't sure about the GI Joe movie, but the trailer looks pretty damn good.
  3. Thousands of comedians out of work and you're trying to be funny. (Thanks. )
  4. You could vote for the Wyrd T-shirts last year as they were released in '07, so I would think that WC would count as well. Nice to know that people really liked the first two issues (even better if you liked the fiction ).
  5. Very tough call as there were so many great releases in '08. Ultimately, had to go with some cheesecake and say Lady Justice. It's just a great sculpt, IMO.
  6. Very nice work; nice touch with the freehand tattoo on the lower back (what are those things called again?). And good luck (if it's not over yet).
  7. Cool; might give that a try as I'll be out of IP soon. Thanks for the info. EDIT: Ummm....is the link right? It takes me to a page that says only this: "Replace this index.htm file with yours!, Thanks for using MyHoster.co.cc" (Or am I just jumping over there too soon?)
  8. Yeah, FF; you could do that. You know, Tang, you could have entered IP and submitted these for the first round; lots of purple there. Keep us updated!
  9. Caught this trailer earlier tonight while surfing around. I've always kind of liked Liam Neeson and this movie looks like it might be good (albeit somewhat formulaic): Taken http://www.hulu.com/watch/52814/movie-trailers-taken
  10. Very nice. Looks like a ton of fun and the minis turned out great.
  11. Got my taxes done today (oh yay) and was a bit surprised at how much I got back. So, I've asked for the time off (and it's been approved) and I'll have the amount that I budgeted myself for GenCon. So far, it's looking good for me making it this year. Now, just need to get my car looked at to make sure it'll be okay for the trip, buy my badge (when they go on sale) and book a motel.
  12. Goblyn's sig does have a link to a checklist, but it doesn't look like there are any release dates on it. 2008 had (I believe): Mature Nephilim Nephilim Brood The Death Marshals The Judge Rusty Alyce Lady Justice Catacomb Prowlers: The Witch Bayou Gremlins Zoraida the Hag Convict Gunslinger Silurid Slaves Hans, Mercenary Sniper Flame Base and Accessories Flesh Construct Did I miss any?
  13. Coming along nicely, TBK. Not sure how viable it is, but would it be possible to cover the entire base with a single, large circular magnet? I know that there would be a layer of dirt, flock or what-have-you, but if the magnets are strong enough, would the spiders stay on the base - provided you didn't do a Shake-N-Bake impression with them? Or is it more effective - and better - to place the smaller ones as you have done and build around them?
  14. I kind of like these bottles (there was another one floating around). It's certainly gives old, empty bottles new life.
  15. Very nice. The muted colors really work on this one.
  16. Just an FYI: Badge registration for GenCon has been moved to February 15th. Hotel registration opens on Feb. 17th. Also, apparently if you had an account (you need to create an account to order badges online and all that), you'll need to make a new one.
  17. Very cool; nice bit of sculpting. And I'm with goblyn: what are you using on the bases?
  18. All of it's looking pretty good so far. I really like how you've gotten the Razorspine around the cactus.
  19. Looking pretty good so far. Definitely keep us updated as you go.
  20. GenCon 2007 was my first (and so far, only) convention. There is a "general" admission price and that buys you your GenCon pass. This gets you into the Con and allows you to roam pretty freely throughout the facility, including the Exhibitors Hall. Passes this year looks like they will be $68 for a Four-Day Pass (there are other alternatives, such as Saturday-only). Bit of advice: buy the pass in advance. I stood in line for a long time to buy mine the first day. Registration opens February 2nd. Everyone that has a pass can pick up a "swag bag" - usually filled with all sorts of things from some of companies. Can't remember what all I got in mine, but there was quite a bit. If you want to attend a painting class, enter into the painting competition, etc, then you'll need to buy Event Tickets. I carried my shoulder briefcase everywhere I went the whole four days I was there, so I don't think they worry about things like that. Can't remember if my bag was searched upon entering, though. Link to the GenCon home page: http://www.gencon.com/
  21. I'm hoping to attend this year, especially if Malifaux is ready to be released by then. Although, my plans are to drive out instead of flying.
