Recalled Training + Rebuild Corpus

Hi, we had a discussion today. Izamo used Recalled Training, was killed and later that turn was resurected by Yan Lo's Rebuild Corpus. Since not a condition, does Recalled Training affect the resurrected model?

Rebuild Corpus (from the Reliquary upgrade) is a summoning effect.

As counter intuitive as it may seem, you get a new model that happens to have the same name as the Killed model, it's not returning the previous model to play.  Remember that killed models don't count against the Rare limit, so the sequence:

• Hire Izamu.  1 Izamu in play.
• Izamu gets killed, so there are now 0 Izamu in play.
• Use Rebuild Corpus, naming Izamu, to summon a second Izamu.  There are now 1 Izamu in play.

works out okay.

Does Rebuild Corpus "summon" a model? If so, no. It's a different model.

Worth pointing out that you then get to activate the "new" izamu because it hasn't activated yet that turn, and it is also a new model as far as any schemes in which Izamu was named, so no scoring Take one from the team from him a second time
