  1. I ordered the Carver over black Friday, and the sculpt looks great. Now I found a card for him in the 2010 Halloween special event pack. I know that is a version 1.5 card, and I know that no card came with the model. My question is will there be a card? Or is anyone else looking at that card and seeing if there is anything we can do to update that card. Either way I will be using that. To start as a proxy for Vasilisa...
  2. I am listening to it now, and I only wish there had been a third person on who liked M2E to be a counter point. To me it is starting to sound like two people who can race to see who likes the game least. I don't feel like there is anyone taking any other opinion besides "Overall I don't like that they changed my game". Sorry if that offends, but it is the way it sounds. Even the points of enjoyment about the new rules seem like foils to another dip into the I don't like this. To the point where it feel like they are saying, well I like this, and that proves I am being balanced, and so now lets talk more about the things I dislike. Now, if anyone is still reading my opinion, I have a quick question. In the beginning you talk about deployment, and that the 12 inch deployment is so much worse then any other deployment, I am just wonder why with more specifics. You say it is because the first person who activates will have such an overwhelming advantage that the second person to go will have a VERY hard time with anything. Considering that at most your opponent will have 2 activations to get something done before you go, and that killing is only marginally important, what is the real issue? I have found that on the occasions when that pops up, it can lead to more interact markers being dropped, as it is easier to be within a certain distance of the opponents deployment zone, but that it really just removed that 1 round of moving without being in attack range. What other issue do you have with that? Thanks for listening......or not.....lol
  3. I would like to see the same kind of release using the story in Book 4 with the Victorian Dolls. The "Collodi" possible henchman. I don't have the book in front of me, but I thought it was some kind of Baron or the like with his carriage of dolls. The dolls in that story were very nice and creepy and I could see the same kind of story encounter with them anywhere on the road. Here's hoping!
  4. My normal game night is Thursday, and it is killing me that the rules don't come out until Friday. I have been more excited about playing Malifaux then I have been in year.
  5. I would just be happy to see the dolls from the Collodi story in book 4 along with a very nice cyborg henchman. They seemed like a very tough little force.
  6. And if you look at the edges of the screen before you log in I see the Carver has made an appearance.
  7. I had Punch, Judy and Jack, but Jill never even occured to me. Thanx. I also think of it like scrap because of the "lines" coming off Collodi's fingertips getting snapped like a whip into a pile of scrap, which is why it can be up to 6 inches away, and a new little friend shows up to play made out of all the little parts. Little sticks of wood and gears rusting all around it. Doesn't strike me as the same if he cracked the whip into a corpse.
  8. There was an HBO mini series called "Carnival". It has the same feel as Malifaux even if it is not quite the same time period. Definitly worth watching
  9. This is just another bump, I was hoping for official word on this two. I did hear a very convincing argument last night that as the +1 AP is a general AP that can only be used for casting and channeling, it could not be combined with the specific AP from casting expert, the same way you can not combine a general AP and the melee expert AP to charge. Just wondering if we could get a Yup or Nope from the RMs. Thanx
  10. Thanx guys. Another good post on a very interesting thread
  11. As far as the Spiral Bound rules Manual goes, you can get that done at Office Max or places like that for about 5-10 bucks. I did it with hard plastic front and back covers and then spiral bound. They cut the perfect binding off and everything. I think it took 10 minutes to do. It was kind funny because I was using a fortune from a fortune cookie to mark my place and it got bound in too. "You are the crispy noodle in the vegetable stir-fry of life" I get the best fortunes.....lol
  12. Even though I know it is not possible from a previous discussion. I would LOVE to see Dead Lady J as a rezzer crew.
  13. Audiobooks are my favorite too. Mostly science fiction/fantasy/murder mysteries. It is nice to have something that keeps my mind engaged without having to look up all the time.
  14. I personally vote for Von Shill. Not only is he a handy support piece with all the other individual members of his crew, if you ever need to teach the game to someone, he makes a GREAT 15 point team.
  15. I heard on another thread that they are talking about a 3X3 vinyl mat. Has anyone else heard anything about that? I had one from my Dreamblade days that was just great to play on.
