I know it sounds awesome, just a bit intimidating to try and do it.

I was thinking an oil slick/void thing on the base which each model is coming out of. Kinda like the mirror scene in the matrix. Not sure how to do this though.

I have received two emails. First one says order confirmed. Second one says order changed, with the shipping now FedEx Home Delivery® rather than the U.S.P.S. First-Class Package International Service™ I selected at checkout. I'm not complaining as delivery method is irrelevant to me as long as the price doesn't go up, but just wondering if this was intentional or a glitch? Located in Australia if that makes any difference.

Another option you could try is an exoskeleton look, would give you more freedom to pin around the leg joint and use larger pins. Not having the model I can't be sure the space and scale allow for this though.

Edit: Thank you very much. Awesome. Found the section on their website. Why is it under tombstone though? I looked on the weekend, but not under that tab. Don't suppose you know how many bits those models come in? The preacher on that site has an excellent duster type coat, and i'm more comfortable doing hand/weapon/arm swaps than I am sculpting coats. Also, as far as a mask goes, the art doesn't really seem to have anything, just a bandana around his neck.

As we know from the release schedule there is no Pale Rider in sight for the next 3 months or more. Does anyone have ideas for a proxy/conversion base to use in the meantime? I had thought of a wild west type model with a rifle, but I haven't been able to find any that have even halfway decent details and appearance. If anyone has done this already, or has thoughts it would be great to hear.

Rasputina's blast should be laying down 4 or 5 points of damage though, depending upon whether you have bite of winter active. That can put some hurt on her pretty quickly, as well as vaporising sorrows instantly. And with a 5" range from the edge of the Golem/Gamin's base, Rasputina can be a fair distance away as well.

Ahh yes, I got that mixed up now, didn't I.

You choose your faction, then determine strategies, then build your crew. What this means, is that you know your opponent will be neverborn with treasure hunt. And they know you will be arcanist with assassinate. They can then choose to build any legal crew with a neverborn master and the models they have (or proxy). Most players locally have a limited selection, such as myself, so it tends to be one master, with a selection of various minions, but if they have multiple masters from the same faction they are free to choose which one to use based upon your faction and your strategy. This can introduce some balance issues when a new player with a small selection plays somebody with a much larger force, in that one person can tailor to the game much better than the other. If this is an issue, you can always agree to predetermine lists, or restrict the number of models available to choose from, or some such.

It makes Pillars awesome for Raspi, as you only need a 3 to cast it, you can cheat a low :tomes to activate Surge and try improving your hand. As you can't cast Pillars multiple times per turn anyway, there is no reason not to use this, unless you are short on :tomes or control cards.

I thought about obey, but it was changed to not affect masters in the errata.

Unless I'm missing something, devour only affects Ht1 models, ie. none of the masters?

If you take a totem with the Viktorias (can you do that with their self companion?), is it possible to chain the companion activation. As in, activate sword vik, who is in 6" of gun vik, who is in 6" of the totem. Would activating sword vik, and companion activating gun vik, allow the totem to activate, or would gun vik have to activate, allowing both to companion off her. Also, would the totem have to companion to a specific vik, or would that be shared by their sisters ability?
