theJudge
So the Gaki are the first wyrd models that I need but really dislike the model. Has anyone come across any good proxies for these guys?
ThePandaDirector
Kensei is currently on IndieGoGo, but Gaki is one of the models Zenit Miniatures will be selling for it. There's also the Demon of Gluttony from Hell Dorado (less Asian themed proxy). Really depends what you're looking for.
theJudge
That Gaki is a bit too Golum like for me tbh mate. The Gluttony ones are cool but they are a little steep...
BrotherPaulos
The gods layer lighteater mini is a really good proxy: http://theaspiringresurrectionist.blogspot.com.au/search/label/Alternate%20Sculpts I was really tempted by this one but then I just ended up doing some hand swaps with a friends GW ghouls boxed set to get what I needed. pixelante
It seems that a Gaki is more like a ghoul than a spirit, so you could use the Games Workshop ghouls and sculpt a bulging stomach.
Kalkris
The gods layer lighteater mini is a really good proxy: http://theaspiringresurrectionist.blogspot.com.au/search/label/Alternate%20Sculpts Sadly, that lighteater is billed as a 50mm model... But it does look cool! I wish I knew more about Gaki but from what I do know I would second the GW WHFB Ghoul model (bearing in mind with a heavy heart that it *is* GW and should not really be patronized too much considering how they treat people as of late). ~Lil Kalki
