zFiend
Still like that proxy a lot
Big Ned
It is an excellent model. If only it had a hammer... sadly the cutlass is sculpted to be resting against his arm and shoulder so a conversion would have been an extremely difficult task and would have probably ended yp spoiling the model in some way. Big Ned
I've been busy working on terrain for The Good, The Bad and The Fated so I've not been making as much progress as usual at the painting table. So here's another WIP in progress shot of The Captain rather than the finished model I do aim to get him finished this week. Then on to the Mechanical Rider.

Godgolden
Futurama, he reminds me of Zapp Brannigan

Big Ned
Thanks, I always liked the covrer of the 1.0 book and decided to do the signpost. Here's the completed 'The Captain'
SpiralngCadavr
Yep, the 1.0 cover was very nice, still like it better than the current one (despite very much liking that desperate merc since it first appeared). Also, fun captain, he's got a good sense of a swagger, that fits Malifaux well.

Big Ned
Another ovetdue update. I've been working on a lot of terrain recently so haven't been painting as much as usual Here's what I've done so fat for the Mechanical Rider. Obviously still lots to do but what do you think so far?
zFiend
Looks good, can't wait to see what you come up with the Rider! Looks like a pain to get to stick on a base though if the only point touching is the front hoof?
vinush
Is it just me, or does that rider look a tad on the masculine side of things, facially speaking? Vinush

Lussuria
Oooh I need the riders so bad. She looks awesome! Lovely shading building up on her purple. Can't wait to see it finished!
Big Ned
I know I've been a bit quiet recently, A lot of that has been down to me making a whole bunch of terrain for 'The Good, The Bad and The Fated' coming up in May. So I've set myself a bit of a challenge. I want to get the Marcus crew box painted up for Heartfaux on May 10th (maybe not Cojo -we'll see) So first part of the challenge was to finish the Mechanical Rider and the paint the Razorspine Rattler in one night. Challenge completed, and here are the results:- And the Razorspine Rattler Next up... The Jackalope I think
zFiend
Both models look good but you really nailed the Razorspine!
SpiralngCadavr
The Mechanical Rider's face looks really strange, though I think it's a product of the sculpt rather than your paint job. The flames look very nice. Nice, clean job on the rattler, too.
AtomBalm
Razorspine looks awesome.
Big Ned
Thanks guys Jackalope painted, even faster than the Rattler
zFiend
That is such an evil little bugger. Really good looking base!
Big Ned
Again, tournament prep has meant that my own painting has had to take a back seat. With almost everything sorted for 'The Good, The Bad and The Fated' I've been able to sit down and paint something. The latest from my Marcus crew is the Sabretooth Cerberus, a great model to paint with bags of character
